"passing" _____________________ Some goodbyes hurt like nothing else. Like a pressure in your chest, like tears crumbling as if they were gravel into the gaping hole of a heart left behind. Some goodbyes make you grab at your chest and press and press and want to fill that void with your hands and just hold them there, hold yourself together but let yourself shake in self warranted, desired, sought-after pity. But some goodbyes feel like this.
