Seems like we’ve been messing around for awhile… maybe it’s time to move on from Snowdin… if you’ve interacted with everyone in town… then I believe it’s time to go see papyrus

Frisk hates this part… papyrus is so kind. It makes them feel guilty to feel like they’re playing around with his feelings and tricking him some way. And it gets so tedious…

The human child and their ghost.. hm not ghosts they aren’t like napstablook.. spirit?? Spirit companions.. head towards the end of snowdin. The fog is thick, Mirren shivers as she feels is phase through her. Sint is more focused on what’s about to happen.

As they get there it’s the same spiel as always. Same dialogue, nothing missing here. Frisk is quiet though. They are getting tired of this run already… sint stays close over their shoulder the whole time, watching papyrus with wide eyes. He wished he could talk to him again.

Then, their soul is turned blue. And Sint’s eyes widden. That dark blue color… a sparkle of recognition sparkles in his eyes as he thinks about it. They’ve gotta move on faster than this! Someone is waiting for them! Mirren notices too, but she seems more calm and collected, a little excited but keeping her cool. She doesn’t want to distract frisk.

Soon though, it’s over, and they’re on their way to the skeleton brothers’ home… a new sense of excitement and/or urgency over the group.

So if you’re all aware of the resets and such, are you aware you’re in a game?

, is that some sick idea of a joke!? We’re really suffering through it over here, it isn’t a game! Get your priorities straight, anon, go ahead I’ll wait!

They are fictional to us, but to them it is very real and it is no video game. Just a story to be told like any other fictional story, no forth wall breaks here!

If you guys have found sint already, that means you’ve already been through the fun puzzles and such with sans and papyrus! Was it fun? Did you ever find it fun?

. Used to be fun… it’s hard to laugh at it all right now when I’m so stressed out and… bored of the same jokes. I spent years and years starting my adventure over for admittedly selfish reasons, and found the same jokes repeated time and time again enjoyable! But after so long it feels… exhausting….

They take a deep breath, seemingly sad to admit the feel such a way towards their beloved friends and found family, but they quickly perk up

This is a question to the mod! Why don’t we get details about the interactions the kids have with canon characters throughout the game?

Hi! While we haven’t seen many detailed interactions yet, we might in the future! For now though, there haven’t been many major changes other than what I’ve described already and it feels lame to have you all sit through the full detailed story when it’s been around for six years already! It feels more fun to focus on the kids perspectives and especially how the other souls feel about the canon events as frisk plays through them!

Frisk said with a big grin while showing their inventory, which currently held many of the “tasty lil dudes” they had picked up at the show where they got the bandanna that was now tied around their wrist of the hand wearing the glove.

! Did you guys… go to the spider bake sale?

I know you guys don’t remember much right now but from what you can remember do you have favorite monsters you met on your journey?

. We hate to pick favorites but…

! I like papyrus! He’s always fun! He seems goofy, but once you get to know his serious side too he’s actually a really good sweet monster! I like him!

, uh… I don’t remember past waterfall right now so uh… undyne. I have a lot of fuzzy memories of her once we reached the surface. I must have spent a lot of time with her. But I can’t remember it all

Sint do you think theirs a possibly of a 3rd party involved ?

! Third party? As in like… someone not involved with us? I don’t know. I don’t think so. It all feels… too intentional. If that makes sense. Someone had to be involved and know just how to make us forget… just gotta figure out why and who…

! Huh… well I remember these two of course! And uh…

! Oh! We’re… missing someone! Someone other than the other kids, the other four I remember being here. There was… one more. One more like frisk. But I.. only remember that they are supposed to be here but I can’t remember them

, it’s okay… I can’t remember them either I know what you mean

! Well, good to know I’m not going crazy at least. I also remember… that that Skelton guy um… sans! He should remember we’ve done this before, and he should be pretty pissed about it! But he’s not? Before, he was the only one other than us that remembered each time. It’s odd. It’s also odd the rest of us have lost memories too, but they seem to be coming back slowly as we progress

, now that you mention it… it is odd the way our memories come in patches as we go forward

! So I guess if we want answers we just need to keep going. But it’s… almost like something, or someone, locked them up intentionally to try and keep us from remembering…
