A Somewhat Lengthy Introduction

Hello hello, welcome to my essay and analysis blog! I intend to use this blog as a venue to keep my thoughts organized and easily available without the hustle and bustle of formatting and archiving on other platforms.

On this blog, I will be writing essays and analyses of pretty much exclusively things I like and find interesting. I’m a weeb by heart and a gamer by birth, so I’ll generally be sticking to animanga and video games and related mediums (i.e. visual novels), but I don’t discount doing other media like Western books and movies and TV shows, either. I absolutely adore battle shonen and martial arts anime and manga and I intend to provide what insights I can gleam from them here quite a bit, but I also expect to delve into more “traditional” series that people like to analyze and extensively write about such as Berserk and Dark Souls. Again, this is just gonna be for things I like as far as I can tell lol.

Now unfortunately, I don’t have an essay prepared to show to you all just yet, but hopefully I can have one up soon enough (sometime within 2 weeks maybe?). I also can’t guarantee any sort of schedule as of now, as both doing this in a structured form and using tumblr is new to me. However, I can guarantee I’ll put forth an effort to make quality posts and essays here when I find both the time and motivation to do so.
