Joseph sighed. Of course he wants to stay out, this kid has spunk.

“A real man knows when to leave the fight, kid, and now is the best time to cut our losses. We can’t do anything in this situation.” Joseph glanced down at the boy, not really sure where to bring him. “Do you have parents around here? My official babysitter license doesn’t come in until next week. And the fuzz will kill me if I get caught without a license again.” 

Well this certainly wasn’t unusual for him. It just hasn’t happened in a while. With a small “oof” Steven lets himself dangle while tucked underneath the man’s arm, looking up at him while sniffling.

“I don’t wanna go home yet though.”

Grabs the kid around the waist and holds him like a sleeping bag.

“Time for you to go home, kid.”

“I… I-I don’t…” 

“… I don’t understand.”

Another familiar face in this city, but at least this one didn’t piss Joseph off.

“Oi Lisa Lisa, good to know you survived that last battle unharmed! I figured an old lady like you would have keeled over from everything Kars did.” He wasn’t going to actually show it, but Jojo was relieved to see Lisa Lisa in the city, just like he had been happy to Caesar ever so slightly. Okay maybe mostly just Lisa Lisa, but let’s not sweat the details.

Jojo was ready to enjoy this new city, see the sights and meet the ladies, but instead this little linguine with arms had to show up. Jojo groaned, letting his sound reach the other male’s ears. “Great just what I wanted, a blonde flirt who can’t dress himself. Now all I need is a jackass that can’t stop flirting with girls... Oh wait!” Joseph grinned, happy to have delivered such a sick burn. “So you were brought here too?”
