Had a dream awhile ago about a Joseph survivor switch that would work something like a hybrid between the mechanic bot and Alice’s camera illusion

I also came up with how this nonexistent survivor would work but im not entirely sure if it would be balanced. Most likely not. If fact it might be way too OP

Joseph possesses the Photograph item which is used to control and summon the photographic memory of his late twin brother Claude.

When the match starts the twins spawn together automatically and Claude will follow his brother until commanded to go somwhere else.(which would work like Alice’s camera except the range is much longer if not infinite)

When they’re together Joseph is comforted and receives a 5% decoding buff. When Claude is somewhere else on the map that buff is taken away. If Claude is downed by the hunter Joseph is filled with grief and loneliness and receives a 30% decoding debuff and his movement speed is decreased by 5% until Claude’s memory is resurrected

Claude cannot interact with rocket chairs or other survivors. When returning to or being sent away by Jospeh, Claude will vault over already thrown down pallets but will not throw them down himself. Claude can be sent to a cipher machine and appear to be decoding by the hunter, but wont actually progress the cipher’s progress.

The hunter cannot tell the difference between the twins. When being pursued Joseph can command Claude to run in the opposite direction in hopes the hunter will accidentally chase after the wrong twin.

When being pursued by the hunter and the twins are together Claude will block damage equal to one normal attack and protect Joseph, getting downed in the process.

After Claude has been downed there is a 180 second cooldown before Claude can be resurrected again with the photograph

Alice looked back at the prospector in surprise. She hadn’t even noticed he’d stopped humming, much less had been glaring at her while she was inspecting the wooden die.

She put on an innocent smile and set the block down on the table.

“You didn’t have to,” He interrupted.

Quickly, Campbell snatched the die up from where Alice had set it down. Watching them roll in his hand before lifting his eyes back up to her once again.

YAP ABOUT FOOL'S GOLD AND ALICE NOW 😈😈😈

You've twisted my arm anon. I have no choice but to talk about Nortalice + Fool's Gold now. I hope you're happy, you monster.

I will say tho, I know there are different scenarios people come up with where the Survivors and their Hunter switches are the same people who go through a transformation for whatever faction they're currently playing against. Buuuuuuut, I like when they're separate entities with the same memories, except one's now a giant traumatized monster. So that's what I'm writing about right now.

Also quick disclaimer, im yandere deprived right now, Sooooo. While I think FG and Alice can be fluffy in the other scenario, where Norton and FG are the same physical person. In this, FG is displaying some red flag behavior, it's pretty mild in my opinion but just thought id let you know.

NortAlice + Fool's Gold

So like I said, I picture Fool's Gold to be basically an alternate version of Norton, except something inside them, personally, has changed them drastically. Maybe it's a memory that haunts him even more so than it does survivor Norton, or it's an experience that regular Norton hasn't gone through. It doesn't really matter, and I need to ponder it some more honestly. But for now, we're gonna just leave it as this "Change" means that FG's, erm... "Less than desirable" traits have been amplified. By a LOT.

So if Norton's already possessive of Alice, FG's possessiveness has been multiplied.

They don't get to interact much outside of matches, so on the rare chance Alice and FG get paired up, the games can get a little wild. FG will just be doing his thing, chasing survivors, but the moment he sees Alice, it's on sight. He immediately forgets about whoever he was chasing and starts going after Alice.

Once he catches her, though, he doesn't chair her. Instead, he kind of just picks her up and starts carrying her around. He'll walk around, hitting any survivor that gets too close, until he finds a secluded spot and kind of just messes around with her.

Holding her tightly so she can't struggle out of his grip, Fg will play with her hair, cuddle and hug her body, and kiss her face. He's pretty forceful but also considerably gentle when they're alone, but as soon as FG hears any survivor wandering too close or trying to interrupt some of the only time FG has with Alice, he will immediately drop her to go down and chair whoever it is. And if Alice takes the opportunity to heal herself and get the hell out of there to go finish some ciphers, FG will just track her down all over again.

The real trouble and violence start when Norton, Alice, and Fool's Gold are all in a match together.

Alice is pretty conflicted about this whole situation. On one hand, Norton's her boyfriend(?), but so is Fool's Gold technically if they really are the same person. And she can't deny that she feels some affection for the rock monster and wants to help him in some way.

Norton though? Hates FG to the moon and back.

As soon as he realizes who the hunter is, he's making a beeline for Alice to make sure she stays hidden. Eventually, though, if they're caught, the game basically turns into a tarot match.

FG has Alice thrown over his shoulder, destroying the ground and walls with his pickaxe, Norton's going through all his magnets trying to stun FG and trying to avoid taking a hit, and Alice is yelling for both of them to calm the hell down. Meanwhile, the other two survivors are trying to avoid the utter carnage wreaking and wrecking the entire arena.

Once the match is over, Norton's covered in bruises, complaining the whole time while he accompanies Alice to her room. Spewing hateful slurs and insults towards his rocky reflection, even if he isn't there to hear it. Alice tolerates the profanities and tries to console him, offering to patch him up, but she's also a little distracted thinking over what just happened.

She really wants to understand Fool's Gold. What he is, why he's so different from Norton, and what exactly he wants from her. Obviously something intimate or romantic, and maybe Alice isn't necessarily opposed to that if maybe FG asked first or considered her feelings before snatching her away. Who knows. After all, no matter how much Norton would like to insist, they technically are the same in a lot of ways.

Lmao. Im kinda assuming this is the same anon from before, but incase im wrong; Here’s the last Nortalice post i made about the initial ask and then some angsty dynamic i came up with on the fly.

But headcanons for Nortalice huh…

(This might be a little ooc considering the affection system and general future and upcoming content might turn out but were just gonna roll with it)

•In AOM, Norton has this way of pulling the rug out from Alice’s feet when they first meet. Norton’s personality kind of clashes with Alice’s sophisticated and private lifestyle, so Norton reacts by treating Alice with as little respect as he reasonably can because he perceives Alice’s behavior as someone snooty just trying to get something out of him. While Alice is struggling to figure out a way past Norton’s blunt and off putting nature, without going completely broke in the process.

Eventually Alice realizes that in order to get anywhere with Norton, she has to take down her own walls first and actually get personal with him. Which kind of in turn throws Norton off his game, where initially he felt he was running circles around this rich lady who has no idea how the world really works, but is now finding her relatable(?) and possibly an exception to his view of the privileged.

Now actual couple stuff

• Alice is not very big on PDA and doesn’t want to put an official label on their relationship. Whenever someone asks about the two of them she’s very private and tries changing the subject or answers with something extremely vague. It’s not because she doesnt feel very strongly for Norton or she’s embarrassed. She just thinks it’s a little too personal for her liking to talk about her relationships, even with friends, and it just isnt anyone’s business.

Norton’s pretty fine with having no official label but is pretty clear with the other survivors (especially the males * cough cough Kevin*) that him and Alice are exclusive and she is off limits to any romantic or sexual advances.

• Norton might be more possessive than Alice is but i think they’re both pretty equal when it comes to jealousy, which usually goes like this.

Alice is more openly affectionate with her female friends, touching and sharing compliments in public since that’s more appropriate for women of the time to do. It isn’t very appropriate to do with a man your not married to however, which makes Norton a little jealous. And when Norton lets loose and hangs out with some of the other guys, Alice gets a little insecure since she’s usually the one that gets Norton out of his shell.

• Alice doesn’t use pet names. Maybe when she’s especially sentimental or in a teasing mood, she’ll slip out a “darling” or “love”, but it’s just not really her thing.

Norton doesn’t really use traditional pet names and will instead sometimes call her “Goldie”, or “Ally” (this is just mostly my habit of shortening peoples names and sticking a y at the end though)

• This is both Alice and Norton’s first relationship ever. They both have zero experience so they make a lot of mistakes together. And their different upbringings and social status leaves them with different ideas and expectations of what dating or “courting” looks like.

(Slight NSFW implications) Alice also wants to wait until they leave the Manor and get married until they have traditional couple bedroom fun. Norton is pretty disappointed at first until he realizes that Alice isn’t saying no, just not yet and that she expects that they’ll get married at some point, which kind of stuns him.

Ive also got some ideas considering Fools Gold but… Someones gonna have to send me another ask so I know the people want to know about my silly little ships. I love to talk, i just need to know if people care or not before i yap away

your drawing looks so interesting! May i asks how do you colored and your art program?

Unfortunately you asked this at the worst possible time. Right now my tablet and apple pen are broke as heck so Im unable to draw anything digital for at least another 2 to 3 weeks.

But I use procreate. (i dont really like how ibs paint is set up) I usually use brushes I downloaded that cant really show you right now .

But explaining it in a really weird way, my coloring process usually goes.

•Putting down all the base colors first.

•Then I pick a random color that either compliments or clashes and put it down as a highlight, shadow, or just makes me think the drawing looks cool.

•I’ll mess with the opacity and the other filters that you can adjust via the layer. I typically go for the ones that make the colors bright and saturated.

•then I just do that a couple hundred more times until I don’t totally hate it.

Honestly my coloring process is longer than the actual sketching cuz I have no idea what Im doing and don’t know how color theory works.

Once I get everything working again I’ll come back to this and post some photo’s or if you’d like I can post a clip from a speed paint of the coloring process of one of my recent drawings before my pen broke.
