no one should be surprised that I'm still knees deep in slam dunk brainrot. rumitsu is slowly becoming my favourite ship--there's just so much potential for delicious, delicious angst; the inevitable parting as they chase their own futures like two lines that continue to diverge, never seeming to meet again.

but also i love a good getting-back-together story--one of them will take a turn and their paths will inevitably entangle once more ✨

Rukawa doesn’t let him finish, taking Mitsui’s other hand to bring them together in front of them. He slowly lowers his head and presses his lips to Mitsui’s knuckle, the one of his little finger on his right hand, lingering the touch for a moment before he moves on to kiss the next one.... One by one, he bestows a kiss on the end of every finger, until he reaches the last one. When he looks up, Mitsui looks like he’s going to cry.

I read this amazing rumitsu fic by aozu a few days ago and this particular scene has been taking up space in my brain.

Hi, guys! It’s been a hot minute since I uploaded any art, but all these years my heart still beat for RinRei. After finishing “The Sea That Turned to Sand”, @preusterreich and I have started writing a different story, which is a dungeons & dragons game at the same time. This one is called “Wolf’s Blood”.

Rin Matsuoka is the most famous gladiator in Sobetsu City, but during his championship match against the challenger from the other side of the continent, his life changes dramatically in an instant. A strange, young wizard named Rei is willing to help him get his life back on track. Rin doesn’t know why Rei is so interested in him (aside from the fact that Rei is a huge fan of his) but he’ll take any help he can get. Their journey across the land will uncover many dark deeds - much more than they ever wanted to know.

So here’s art of the boys! I would like to make some framed portraits like these of pretty much every important character in this fanfic.
