This is the first episode of RWV Workouts. You can listen to this episode and workout along with me on this Jab, Cross Drill. This workout is great for technique, a warm up, and may be all the cardio you need in your current workout program if you change the intensity and do more rounds. It is also good for those who have a hard time gaining muscle on their calves, as you will see after one round.

Ep.064 - Can you have Too Much Muscle? On this episode, we look at if you can have too much muscle for your sport and how I would write a 12 week strength and conditioning plan for myself preparing for a fight or other team sport. I give tips on reps and sets, types of exercises, deloading, and the importance of working on different parts at different sections of the program. Making weight is considered for combat athletes and if you don’t have to make-weight. . . . Good for you. http://resultswillvary.com/can-you-have-too-much-muscle-ep-064

Ep.059 - Overtraining and Deloading
On this episode, I talked about overtraining and the importance of deloading. I mention some of the signs of overtraining, the difference between sympathetic and parasympathetic overtraining, the difference in how overtraining can effect sprinters to endurance based athletes, and how to avoid overtraining and still make gains.
Deloading is explained and I give various examples of different ways you can add a deload week in your workout program or sport.

Here is a tip I noticed recently sparring. I was having a hard time with some guys relying on counter punching and defense, when it came to me. Let Your Hands Fly Though this did not mean throw my hands out without intent. It meant switching from defense to offense. From waiting for them to make a mistake, to making them make a mistake. The 6-foot-2, 235-pound Olsen is a member of the American four-man bobsledding team that hopes to repeat as gold-medal winners beginning on Feb. 22. With his event more than a week away, Olsen is still training hard, and AP photographer Tom Withers captured him doing some extremely impressive weight training.

COMMENTARY | It isn't uncommon for insults to be traded between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd "Money" Mayweather's camps. Sharing words of advice like Floyd Mayweather Sr. did during a recent appearance on The Ropes Boxing Radio is a bit rare though. If Pacquiao heeds his words, it just might lead to the super-fight boxing fans have demanded for years. "Pacquiao, I think he should take that fight with my son and delete Bob Arum out of the situation and go for what he can go for, do the best he can do because right now he ain't doing very good," Mayweather Sr. said.
