the best friend couple!!! sapnap tells you literally everything. any drama going on or any strong emotions he’s feeling, you know about it. most of the time, the second something happens his brain immediately goes “omg i have to tell y/n”. you guys always complain about the same things and get excited over the same things. you are genuinely one of the most important people in his life and he doesn’t know how he’d do it without you.

C is for Comfort (How do they comfort their s/o?)

he will literally drop everything just to hold you and not speak for like hours if you so needed. he strikes me as a naturally comforting person to the people he really cares about so I say he gets an A+ in this department

it depends on the situation. he’s definitely the type of guy to pick you up from a super comfy position and just body slam you on the bed. but if he can tell you’re not in the mood to play around like that he’ll just sit down and hold you, so yeah he can be gentle. but most of the time be prepared for playful fist fights and getting picked up and thrown every now and then lol.

he did !! the first time sapnap said “I love you” was probably one of his most confident moments. he was so proud to be able to say it and so sure of himself and his feelings for you.

YES OH MY GOD. he gets super jealous and it’s so easy to tell omg. his attitude starts to get like super bad and he is very clearly annoyed by the situation. he won’t ever be too overbearing about it and if you ever feel like he is once you sit him down and explain that he’ll back off a bit. but he’s still gonna be bothered by it so just always remind him that he love him and no one else.

K is for Kiss (What’s kissing them like?)

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IM ACTUALLY GOING TO BE DESCRIPTIVE SO IM SORRY IF ITS CRINGE. anyways, he’d be a pretty deep kisser but not like full on making out every single time. he just likes to make them last and he isn’t one to just give you random kisses all throughout the day so it always feels special. kissing him makes you feel all warm and happy inside.

sapnaps love language is quality time or acts of service!! i’d say mainly quality time. even while long distance he just likes having you on call while he does stuff or even just complaining to you about how tired he is while actively not going to bed so he can keep talking to you lol. he just likes having you around it’s a huge comfort for him. i say acts of service because he would get so giddy and happy anytime you did something special for him. he would show it off and brag about it forever and it would genuinely mean so much to him aahhajdxh i love sapnap

For your first time seeing each other irl, sapnap flew to where you live and you guys spent a whole week together. his favorite memories are definitely from that first week of seeing each other in person. of course you guys already had an amazing relationship while long distance, but there’s something so different about finally meeting the person you’re with in real life. it felt like he had to start over from scratch and you guys had to get to know each other all over again. also the idea of now having to build a physical bond. it was just such an amazing and beautiful experience. definitely the one that made him realize he really is in love with you.

IM SO BAD AT THINKING OF CUTE NAMES USHSJDH. probably just babe tho lol. for fem!readers, i can totally picture him using princess in a slightly sarcastic tone.

mmm i’d say he actually starts opening up to you pretty early into the relationship. If you guys were like really close friends before hand he’s definitely already opened up to you. He doesn’t really have that many people in his life that he doesn’t trust.

not really but he isn’t like super shy about it if that makes sense ??? like he’s 100% fine with hand holding, hugging, and light pecks when saying hello or goodbye.

I don’t think he really tries to remember stuff but he just does and he’s always making connections to you and things he sees and stuff it’s so cute :)

george’s love language is either giving/receiving gifts or words of affirmation. i cant imagine he’d be all too good at thinking of gift ideas but he sure does like receiving them and especially from you LOL. he also really likes words of encouragement and although he isn’t the best at it, he goes out of his way to find the best things to say to you when you need some extra encouragement too.

M is for Memories (Their favourite memory with their s/o?)

his favorite memories are the random ones of waking up in the mornings or after naps and having you there right beside him, just seeing how peaceful you look all snuggled up. it’s such a warm and cozy feeling that he never really understood but god does he love it.

N is for Nicknames (Their favourite nicknames given and received?)

he isn’t a nicknames kinda guy. they make him cringe a bit. babe is usually the default and he’s more than ok with you calling him gogy lol.

O is for Open (At what point do they start opening up to you about their life and feelings?)

oh god does this take him awhile. he’s mostly just afraid of scaring you off but the fear of you leaving him because you could never tell how he was feeling about things is what made him finally open up. he felt a lot better afterwards and now tries his best to be open with you when needed.

P is for PDA (Are they into PDA?)

i’m sorry but no he is not. like i said before, hand holding is totally fine because it’s like “well everyone already knows we’re dating so they wouldn’t think much of it” but other than that there isn’t much. he does however hold you very close when there’s a lot of people around and makes sure you’re right beside him.

Q is for Quiz (How much do they remember about you?)

george actually remembers a lot of stuff. unlike what I said for karl, he doesn’t really pester you into talking about random things from your life, but anything you do mention, he remembers. he’ll bring it up usually if something reminds him of it.

R is for Romantic (How romantic are they?)

you know what…he does his best. he does the cliché things like randomly getting you flowers or taking you out to eat at nice places. and he makes an effort to ask you about stuff you wanna do together so he can’t take a mental note.

S is for Security (How protective/possessive are they?)

he gets insecure but he isn’t very possessive. he can be a little protective when it comes to people being mean to you. even though he’s scared to do it, if he ever saw any of his fans saying bad stuff about you, he’d bring it up to them as an issue on stream. he mainly just does his best to assure everyone that he really loves and cares about you and it hurts him to see stuff said about you like that.

T is for Try (How much effort do they put into the relationship?)

hakshdkxjxj he puts so much effort it’s so cute. we don’t know much about george but i don’t think he’s ever been in a serious relationship before so if this was his first he would seriously give it his all. he focuses on the little things a lot which is a huge plus.

U is for Uphold (How do they show you they’re proud? What kind of support do they give you?)

he’s so proud of himself for pulling such an epic person like you :3 whenever any of his friends compliment you on something or say something good about your relationship he just gets so happy like “yeah i know they’re epic right?”

V is for Vaunt (Do they like to show off?)

mmmm publicly no but to dream and sapnap definitely LMAO. he will 100% brag about how great you are especially if both of them are single.

W is for Wild Card (A random fluff headcanon.)

george loves showing you how to do stuff and he loves when you show him how to do stuff. he seems like such a natural learner and he’s so curious about everything so he gets excited when you have skills that he doesn’t. he also enjoys the time you guys get to spend together when you teach each other different things. it’s literally like a staple in your relationship. AHHHH I LOVE GEORGE BRB IM CRYING.

X is for X-ray (How well can they read you and your emotions/feelings?)

mmm it depends. george’s issue isn’t understanding his own emotions it’s expressing them. i think he’s actually really confident within himself so he might be good reading other people. at the same time, with the little instances i’ve seen he doesn’t seem to be the best at picking up social cues. so yeah it really depends on how much you’re showing it but at the end of the day he’s always there to talk about whatever you need.

Y is for Yearning (How much do they miss their s/o when they’re gone?)

he actually misses you a lot. especially when you tell him about fun things you’re doing with other people. he’s happy for you dont get me wrong but he does get needy sometimes and yeah he just misses you lots lol.

Z is for Zebra (What kind of pet would they want with their s/o?)

a cat or a dog!! he would be fine with both. also fish. LMAO Idk why fish george just strikes me as the type that would like to have a really cool fish tank. they’re easy to care for (kinda) and he would probably find it really calming.

A/N: this was supposed to be a blurb for @retroaria ‘s 500 follower event (it still is) but it’s less of a blurb and more of a “I got really invested in this and wrote a whole 2500 words about it”… oops

The first time you ran from your feelings was when your friends caught your subtle flirting and bashful expressions.

Karl was new to the set of Mr. Beast, where you’d been working for the past 6 months. In that time, you’d gotten to know the crew well, and they had gotten to know you even better.

Chris, in particular, was your closest friend on set. You saw him as an older brother figure, someone who you could confide in and trust.

In turn, Chris knew everything about you. He knew when you were sad or angry without you telling him. Which is why he was the first to notice your crush on the new guy.

“You and Karl, huh?” He asked you while you were checking one of the camera’s placements for the newest video.

Your eyes widened as you turned to face him, “what?”

The older boy chuckled, “oh, come on, Y/N. It’s so obvious you have a thing for each other.”

Shaking your head, you responded, “I don’t have a thing for him. We’re just friends. I don’t- I don’t like him that way, weirdo.”

Chris rolled his eyes dramatically as you turned back to the camera, fiddling with its position, “I was just watching some footage from the swing video the other day. You two were totally flirting in the background when you thought we weren’t filming.”

At this point, you were starting to get frustrated, “Chris! I wasn’t flirting, I was just being friendly. I can do that, can’t I?”

Sure, maybe your voice raised a little bit, and maybe you were being a bit aggressive. You felt guilty about it, sure, but Chris was practically asking for it.

He was unfazed by your outburst though, “look, all I’m saying is that if you were interested in him, he’d probably be into you too. I think it’d be good for you.”

You scoffed, “I’m doing just fine on my own, Chris. And I’m definitely not looking for anyone right now, interested or not.”

He shrugged and moved onto a different topic, but your mind was overwhelmed by thoughts of Karl and his stupid hair and his stupid smile.

Maybe, and you’d never admit this to yourself, but maybe you had enjoyed talking to him more than you should’ve. Maybe his presence was calming for you, maybe he did make your heart flutter.

But you couldn’t let him have that much power. You wouldn’t.

So, you pushed him away. You stopped talking to him unless you absolutely needed to, which was almost never. Whenever you caught him staring at you, you turned away, trying to ignore his presence.

You never caught the frown on his face or the sad look in his eyes.

The second time you ran from your feelings was when you realized you’d gotten too close.

Karl was officially part of the “Mr. Beast” team by now. There was no way you could avoid him, so you kept him at arm’s reach. You were friendly, but any time you started to feel anything more than that towards him, you pulled away. It was like a gut-twisting merry-go-round.

Or a Ferris wheel. Much like the one that stood in front of you at 10 am.

“Today, we are going to attempt to go on this Ferris wheel 1,000 times. You guys really liked this video the last time we did it, so we got an even bigger Ferris wheel this time!” Jimmy exclaimed in front of the camera as you stood beside him, giving the camera a worried smile.

Jimmy split everyone up into groups of two, putting Chris with himself, Chandler with Viking, and Karl with you.

You tried not to let the emotions dig their way from your brain to your face as you thought about what was going to happen while you were in a Ferris wheel with Karl all day.

It didn’t help that it was the middle of December and freezing in North Carolina.

Jimmy yelled at you from his and Chris’s car, “you’re so lucky you got Karl, he’s like a walking heat lamp. Chris is a fucking ice block!”

You laughed, trying not to feel awkward as you sat next to Karl. Chris let out an offended “hey!”

The ride started going, Karl’s warmth radiating onto your jacket-covered body. Jimmy was right, the guy radiates heat.

You moved to face Karl, leaning your back on the side of the car and pulling your knees to your chest in between the two of you. Karl looks over to you with the same smile he always had with you, “how are we supposed to make this entertaining?”

A giggle escaped your lips, “I was thinking the same thing. The last time we did this was so boring that Jimmy started breaking stuff for content.”

“I guess we’ll just have to figure out how to be funny.” Karl said, laughing.

You deadpanned, “Karl I have never been funny once in my entire life.”

The two of you broke out laughing, unaware of Chris elbowing Jimmy with a smirk on his face.

Time passed and the two of you spoke more and more, laughing and vibing with each other naturally. At some point you were given a blanket to share, leading to you both being a tangle of arms and legs trying to fit as much of you as you could under its warmth.

You didn’t come back to reality until Jimmy yelled, “750! We’re like, three-fourths of the way there.”

Everyone let out screams of excitement and relief, knowing you’d be able to leave soon. You’d been on the ride for almost 7 hours at this point, and you were getting tired of it.

But your mind wasn’t really focused on the excitement. You were distracted by the fact that you had somehow ended up sitting in between Karl’s legs, your back pressed against his chest with his arms around your shoulders.

This wasn’t unusual for Karl, as he was very touchy with his friends. You were too, to an extent, but for some reason this instance of physical affection made your heart flutter.

You were close enough to smell his cologne, to feel the heat radiating from his skin. He was comfortable, you couldn’t deny that, and every bone in your body told you not to move. But your brain, on the other hand, was telling you to run. Run as far as you can and never look back.

You weren’t very subtle about this change of heart. Karl felt your body tense up, a frown on his face. “You okay, bug?” he asked softly, genuine concern in his voice.

Instead of saying anything, you slid over to the other side of the carriage, putting your knees up once again to act as a barrier. He looked at you confused, but when you maintained your silence, he let out a defeated sigh.

The third time you ran away from your feelings was when you realized how bad you’d fallen.

Since the Ferris wheel incident, Karl had kept his distance. Which was hard, because fans (and Jimmy) liked seeing you two together.

You spent so much time together that you couldn’t help falling back into friendship again. It seemed to come so natural to you both, so you let it.

He introduced you to some of his online friends and you took him to meet yours. Karl picked up that you were uncomfortable with his touch, so he was mindful not to be as touchy with you as everyone else.

When he asked you to go on a midnight adventure with him, you didn’t think much of it. You went out with Chandler all the time. It hadn’t even crossed your mind that it could go sideways.

You were in the passenger seat of is car, blanket pulled over your legs and a monster in your hand. The two of you laughed deliriously from the late hour, genuinely enjoying each other’s company.

Karl took you out to the beach, the dark water and pale sand making you beam. You hadn’t been able to go to the beach in months between videos for Mr. Beast and the work you’d been doing for your own channel.

He took your hand and dragged you out to the edge of the ocean, the cold water hitting your feet. You giggled as he shrieked at the temperature.

For the first time in a while, you let yourself enjoy his presence, completely ignoring his warm hand in your own.

After a couple hours of walking the beach, you grew tired. Karl could see the sleep in your eyes, so he giggled and said, “let’s go home, beach bug.”

You grinned at the nickname, letting him pull you to the car. If anyone happened to be nearby, all they would hear was a mixture of laughter. They’d hear two people in love.

When you’d gotten into the car, Karl didn’t turn it on. Instead, he looked at you, a small smile on his face as he stared. You faced him, leaning your weight on the center console of his car, tilting your head in curiosity.

His voice was soft when he spoke, “can I try something?”

You raised an eyebrow, too tired to hear the part of your brain screaming at you to say no. “Sure.”

Karl’s eyes glanced to your lips, his hand reaching up to softly take your cheek in his. You only now realized how close you were to him, his breath mixing with your own.

You wanted to kiss him, and he was so close to doing it. His head tilted, moving to capture your lips with his.

But upon the realization that you wanted to kiss him; you froze. You had promised yourself a long time ago you’d never let yourself feel like this again. You didn’t want to want to kiss someone.

So, you pulled away sharply, Karl’s lips barely grazing yours. You couldn’t say anything, you just sat there, looking at him. Karl’s jaw clenched as he spoke, “right. Sorry, I didn’t mean to…” He couldn’t find the words to finish his sentence.

He wasn’t actually sorry; he just didn’t know what else to say. He thought things were going well, he thought you felt the same way he did. You sure acted like you did.

Neither of you said anything the entire ride back to your house, the air filled with uncomfortable silence.

When he pulled into your driveway, you paused before opening the door. After seeing the look on his face when you rejected him, you hadn’t been able to look at him again. So, you looked out the window when you spoke, “Karl… I’m sorry.”

Your voice was nothing but a pathetic whisper as you opened the door, leaving without looking back.

After that, you avoided him as much as possible. You didn’t speak on sets; you could barely even look at each other. If you were on discord with one or more of your mutual friends, you’d make an excuse to leave when he came on.

You felt guilty.

The last time you tried to run away from your feelings, he wouldn’t let you.

He’d texted you late one night, a few weeks later,

Can we please talk?

I’m just really confused right now, Y/N

Your hands shook as you read the message, your stomach twisting. But you knew you owed him at least this much. He deserved an explanation if nothing else.

So, you responded,

I’m about to stream, meet me for lunch tomorrow?

Karl agreed, setting the time and place for you to talk.

You had to splash your face with water to get you to calm down, your entire body shaking with different emotions. The entire time you were streaming, your mind was racing with thoughts of Karl.

But when the time came for you to meet Karl, you froze. The fear of heartbreak and rejection crashing over you, every reminder of why you pushed Karl so far away. As much as you wanted to let yourself fall for him, you were too afraid of being left broken when it inevitably ended. You didn’t want him to feel that either.

Something came up, I’m so sorry

I can’t make it

Your hands shook as they sent the message. You felt guilty for lying but you knew you were saving the both of you heartbreak. You knew if you saw him today, you’d fall even harder for him. That’s why you’d been avoiding him so much, and why you’d keep avoiding him as much as you could.

But Karl wouldn’t accept your excuse; he showed up at your house an hour later.

When you opened the door to the sight of him staring own at his shoes, eyes red and lips pouted out, your heart almost tore in two. You had to look away.

In your quest to avoid your mutual heartbreak, you seemed to have been the cause of it.

“What am I doing wrong?” He sounded defeated, his voice quiet and sore.

You took a deep breath, trying to sound confident when you spoke, “it’s not you, Karl. Trust me, it’s not you.”

He frowned, looking up to you, “but it’s about me?” You didn’t respond to him, knowing it was meant more of a statement than a question, “You don’t avoid anyone else like you’ve been avoiding me. Even before the beach you’d been treating me different.”

You wanted to reach out to him; to muster up the strength to even look at him. But all you could do was let out a small sigh, “I- I’m sorry, Karl.”

His tone became much firmer than before, “no. You don’t just get to say you’re sorry and think I’m just gonna leave again.”

Your body trembled with nerves and fear as you finally looked up at him, his wet eyes steadily focused on yours. In that moment you realized just how exhausted from the façade you’d been holding onto; from pushing him away.

He saw your resolve begin to fall, so he kept quiet to let you sort out the jumbled mess of emotions in your head.

“I don’t know what I’m supposed to say, Karl,” you whispered after a long moment of silence.

The boy reached out slowly, gently grasping the tips of your fingers; a show of encouragement and support. "Just tell me what happened between us. Tell me what I can do to fix it.”

You shook your head, pulling your hand away from his, “nothing happened between us because there was never an us. There’s just you and there’s just me.”

The words came out aggressively, your panicked brain switching into defensive mode. Your fight or flight response always chose flight, but he wasn’t giving you the option.

Karl’s eyes went soft, hurt evident in them, “that’s not true, y/n.” You saw the wheels turning in his mind, picking apart your mask, “I know that’s not true.”

Swallowing deeply to fight the tears back, you weighed your next words. They’d end this argument and keep Karl away from you for good, which is what you told yourself was best. But did you really want that?

“I don’t know what you think happened, Karl. You tried to kiss me and I clearly don’t want that. Just leave it alone.”

As it turns out, your words had the opposite affect, “and that’s why you refuse to look at me? Why you don’t answer my calls or texts? Why you leave whenever I show up to anything?”

You didn’t respond to him, his red-hot anger fizzing your own down.

He kept going, “I think you care so much more than you want to admit. And I can’t figure out why you’re so insistent on pushing me away, but you can’t keep running away from me!”

His breaths were labored, his face red with heat and frustration. You realized that he wouldn’t give up, no matter what you said or did, because he knew you better than you knew yourself.

“I’m scared, Karl.”

Your words came out quiet and soft, almost inaudible.

He paused, your words registering in his mind, “you don’t have to be scared of me, bug.” Karl reached for your fingers again; this time you let him hold them. His soft skin a comfort against your own, “I’m never gonna hurt you. I promise.”

You shrugged, “I’m just not good at the whole commitment thing. I wouldn’t be good for you; I’d only hurt both of us.”

Karl shook his head, pulling you into his arms, “the only way you can hurt me is by giving up on us before even giving it a chance.”

His cologne filled your nose as you let your head rest against his clothed chest, the pounding of his heartbeat soothing you.

“I’m sorry for being so complicated.”

He chuckled at your words but didn’t respond for a while, just holding you in his arms. When he did speak, his words were soft, “I’m never going to force you into anything you don’t want, but I am going to be here whenever you decide you’re ready.”

“What if I’m never ready?”

Karl buried his nose into your hair with a small smile, “then I’ll wait forever. Are you okay with that?”

The same smile found its way to your face, “yeah, I’m okay with that. But I won’t let you wait that long.”

“Knowing you, you might,” he chuckled.

“Well now I might, just for that.”
