Hello! 

This is very delayed I know. I wanted to formally apologize for dropping all responsibilities towards this RPG. I was offered a second job as well as a volunteer ship that couldn’t be refused. I loved each member that stayed with us in the long term. I wished this concept would have connected with more people in order to stay open though unfortunately, we’ve come to the decision that this style of RP doesn’t have enough of a following to stay open. 

I would love to stay connected to the members who were as committed as myself throughout this journey! I wish everyone the best of luck with their future as amazing writers and creators!

Okay this is the smallest thing but I just moved and I’m finally getting a dining room table so I could actually sit and do work instead of on my bed!! So I’m super excited about that, but what would really make my day is if we got a couple new applications!

Peyton moved to Killbourne when she was sixteen years old. Her father was a lawyer for a big firm and a promotion meant they had to move. Peyton never really knew her mother, when she was three years old her mother left her father and herself for a man she had been having an affair with. The move never bothered Peyton, back then she easily made friends and found herself becoming quite popular. At nineteen, a dark-haired young man named Marcus caught her attention. For years the two would flirt with each other, though it took almost two years for them to finally admit their feelings towards one another. However, it didn’t stop them from developing a ‘friends with benefits’ type of relationship.

It was a typical night out for them and their friends, one too many drinks had flown. Peyton and Marcus had spent the night separately, flirting and drinking with other people. It wasn’t long before both of them become jealous of the attention they where giving to other people and they had an explosive row. It the midst of their argument Marcus kissed Peyton, confessing his true feelings towards her and her to him. They become engaged two years later.

Marcus really was Peyton’s happy ending. Peyton was twenty-four when her father retired and moved back to their family home in California. She had started to build her life in Killbourne so she decided to stay.

Her once bubbly and fun personality soon changed when she began to hear and see the dead coming back to life. She became bitter and angry, believing that if Marcus had to remain dead then so should everyone else. Once she heard about Theo plan to eliminate the dead she decided to join him. Theo saw her as the perfect employee, however, he wanted to do things differently. He knew that she was popular and that she had this awe about her that just drew people to her and to like her. He knew her as the pretty, sweet girl that was easy to get along with and though he knew that Marcus’s death had changed her this is the girl he wanted her to be.

Due to a freak car accident, Marcus was one of the first victims to be taken - though he was one that never returned. His death almost destroyed Peyton. Teo had always been a good friend to both Marcus and Peyton and he was one of the main people who helped Peyton get through her depression. Before the death of Marcus, Peyton used to work as the assistance of a high-end magazine editor. However, after he died she didn’t want to face anyone and ended up quitting.

Everyone thinks that Peyton just works a normal 9-5 office job. Though in reality, her real job is working undercover to Theo. Part of her assignment is to become friendly with the dead, hoping that she’d be able to pull them close enough so that she and Theo can discover their weaknesses and perhaps even use one of them to experiment one. Peyton’s father knows about her undercover job and as much as he loves his daughter he doesn’t agree with what she’s doing, however, he truly believes that she’s only acting this way due to being controlled by her grief. He’s one hundred percent loyal to his only daughter and will never reveal the truth. Secretly he hopes that one day she’ll fall in love again and he’ll have his old daughter back.

▲ Naomi Resnik: Peyton has known Naomi for years. For a long time the girls where good friends, close as anyone could be. Naomi was even helping Peyton plan her wedding to Marcus. However, after hearing about her sister coming back to life Peyton started to become more and more distant with her. The main reason would be because of her newly found job, and that fact that she found it so unfair that others got to live when Marus remained dead.

▲ Marcus Wentworth: It was the call of his name that drew Peyton to Marcus. One night she in the depths of her depression she heard someone call his name at the local bar. Instantly Peyton thought it was her Marus and that just like everyone else he had returned. It wasn’t the case. Still, there was something about him that drew her to him, perhaps it was the pain she could see in his eyes when he drank, making her see him as an easy target for the task the Theo has placed upon her. Or maybe, just maybe for a short while it was nice to say Marcus’s name again.

I don't know if this is inappropriate but I just admire how all of you run this group and I was thinking of revamping an old bio group of mine but last time I had it open, I didn't have much luck and I was just wondering if you had any tips? Anything you can tell me would be much appreciated, thank you.

Oh, thank you! I mean, this is something you would usually ask an RPH, though I guess the best advice is to not give up? I love this concept and personally believe it hasn’t been given a fair shot in the RP world and with the amazing and committed members I already have, I’m going to keep it going as long as I can.

I'd just like to ask before I think about joining are you guys good at tagging things relating to abuse and assault and trauma on the dash should they arise? And I mean like muse posts too+not just in paras. Thank you!

I’d say are members are very respectful of that and are warned in our rules. If there is ever a certain tag you would like our members to be aware of please let me know!

Do the dead remember how they died or is it a blank space?

It’s a blank space! They have no recollection of majority of the day they died, so when they return everything seems normal to them.

Elena’s sister is alive and 21 years old, so Hayden is too old though Willa could be a good fit! I actually like her a little more than Lili! Thanks for the suggestion!

hi if we request an face claim switch do you go by th age the actor is now or the age of their resources? the person I usually play is 37 but most their resources are of from when they are 20

Oh, this is a good question, one I have never thought of before. I believe it would depend on how you play them because if you were to only use the resources you have from when they were 20-25 age range, I would allow for the character to be around that age. Though if you also use gifs from when they’re 37 as well, I would have the character ask to be of the 32-37 age. So it would simply depend on how you plan to play the character. I hope I answered your question correctly!
