ıllıćNCT WISH AS F2 DRIVERSć( ģģķ° ģģ )

genreāheadcanons , non-romantic (no y/n) , f2 driver!nct wishāāācwāslight profanity in some?? , i don't actually watch f2 so there may be some SLIGHT innacuracies, if so i am very sorry </3 , not proofreadāāāwcā1508āāārequestānoāāānoteāi had the time of my LIFE writing this oml this was so fun and cute and i'm screaming wishies in f2!!!!!!!! ughhh they're adorable. @hhaechansmoless ik we talked abt this idea before i'm so glad i could write it skdjksāāānetā@kstrucknetā@neocity-net
OH SION ļ¾ ģ¤ģģØ
was probably the f3 champion or at least runner up
gets signed to a popular team like prema, and is probably destined for ferrariĀ
itās seriously only a matter of time before heās their next golden boy, certain to win some of those italian grand prixs
like he would look so good in the red gear, and everyone is always talking about him for his skills on trackĀ
he doesnāt do too hot in the f2 championship, but heād have his own ollie bearman moment and be a reserve driver for one of the f1 teams during the year
he does well under pressure, so he basically secures his seat during that drive
everyone is talking about him and only him for weeks, and heās getting offers from almost every team who is looking to sign a rookie the next year
the other f2 drivers who did better than him in that championship are jealous they couldnāt have their moment like he didĀ
but ultimately he does deserve the seat, even though he didnāt have the best season
heās a young, talented driver, and heād definitely quickly become a fan favourite
both from the promo videos at prema, but i could also see him posting race behind vlogs and stuff like that very early on (from f3 days)
fans get to know his personality and love him for his shy cute self off track, but focused precise driving on track
MAEDA RIKU ļ¾ åē° éø
riku is the type of f2 driver thatās been there for a season or two, still waiting for his call for an f1 seat
everyone in the paddock knows him and loves himĀ
the newer f2 drivers are a bit intimidated by him, because he has won many races before and is more experienced
but heās so nice to everyone there, truly an alex albon type of guy
jokes around with the younger drivers and doesnāt hold back to give advice if they ask for it
heās also the first person to check up on someone after a race if they had a crash or anything
he has some cute radio messages, and is super close with his race engineer
would definitely have a kimi antonelli esque race engineer therapy videoĀ
and if he were ever to film behind the scenes stuff for the team or just personal, he would always feature his trainer, race engineers, and mechanicsĀ
heās truly just the sunshine on the paddock, you could never hate him
even his top rivals in a season canāt seem to hate him
he can make some risky moves on track to fight for the championship, but heās never one to drive unfairlyĀ
heās also a beast during qualifying, which secures him a position in the top 3 for the starting grid nearly every weekend
his experience comes in handy for sure, but heās practically been this good since debut
once he finally gets a call back from one of the f1 teams, i see him driving for mclaren or aston martin
TOKUNO YUSHI ļ¾ å¾č½ååæ
heās not signed to the best team in f2, and definitely has a tractor of a car and constant car struggles
BUT BOY CAN HE DRIVE THAT TRACTOR
heās a beast at overtaking, and from his first race in f2, he gets people talking because of his skills on trackĀ
even if he has a bad qualifying, he will get in that lawn mower and move up the field like max verstappen in brazil 2024
he has tough competition within the grid, so heās not winning every week by any stretch of the imagination
but he does ensure he gets the best result possible every week, and heās constantly scoring more points
his strength is his consistency, and it pays off with his ranking in the championships
his eyes are always on an f1 seat, of course
that has been his end goal from the day he started kartingĀ
i see him starting out in one of the lower teams, like VCARB, or possibly he would get a seat at williams
itās rough to adjust to f1 at first, going from winning often in f2 to racing against much more experienced drivers
but he will consistently score some points in his rookie season in f1
heās not the most talked about rookie or driver, but his fanbase would grow significantly through the later seasons
he just needs some time to show off his true talent
by his second or third season in f1, he will have moved up to a team like red bull or mercedes
KIM DAEYOUNG ļ¾ ź¹ėģ
is he the best f2 driver ever? no
but he never gives up, which is admirableĀ
heāll have super tough weekends, but still get through it all with a smile on his face
he may never get promoted to f1, but he will for sure stay as a reserve driver for multiple teamsĀ
heās constantly fighting for his chance to have his moment and impress anyone he canĀ
but heās also cursed with some type of bad luckĀ
heād start out a season as the championship favourite, ending each race in a decent position, maybe even winning some races
but his season would only get worse as it went on, and itās not because of his driving skills
DNFs, crashes, car problems, anything you could think of would find its way to mess up Daeyoungās seasonĀ
as if the racing gods are against himĀ
still, heād have one of those loyal as fuck fanbases
even when he has a bad weekend, his fans are relentlessly rooting for himĀ
a franco colapinto situation, if you will
sometimes he performs better than anyone else on the grid
sometimes he crashes on the first few laps
the inconsistency is probably why he still hasnāt gotten a seat in f1
but heās constantly working to improve his racing in any way he can despite his bad luck
anyone on the grid will tell you heās a hard worker, luck just seems to be against him most days
his lows are low and frequent, but his highs are very high
HIROSE RYO ļ¾ 廣ē¬é¼
this little guy in his very first season of f2 attracts allllll the drama
he probably stole a seat from a fan favourite the season before
so half of the f2 fanbase is already against himĀ
he does not care, though
his driving on track is a bit insane
heās competitive like nobodies business, and frankly quite ruthless too
he ignores his strategists calls and divebombs for risky overtakes that somehow work 80% of the time
the other 20% when it doesnāt, he looks like a stupid rookie of course
but unlike Daeyoung, Ryo has luck on his side
f2 commentators are quick to notice his ruthless driving style and pure hunger to winĀ
and the cutthroat driving on track contrasting with his cute face standing on podiums is honestly bafflingĀ
even though he makes his own decisions sometimes to the frustration of his team, they still adore himĀ
heās a little feisty, but somehow wins over everyone older than him like a charmĀ
they canāt help but fall for this ballsy 16-17 year old who is determined to make it to f1
his risky driving pays off in the championship, and he would probably end up winning itĀ
even if he ranks up the most penalties of any driver on the grid lol
he really is super talented for his age and everyone can see that!
if he gets signed to f1, he would end up on a team like red bull or alpine
FUJINAGA SAKUYA ļ¾ č¤ę°øå²å
this boy is still in his karting days, wdym f2
skdjks kidding sakuya has made it to the f2 paddock, and heās immediately winning everyone over with how adorable he is
whenever the camera zooms on him in his car getting ready for quali or a race and all you can see is his big boba eyes staring out of the helmet, it might just be the cutest thing in existenceĀ
on track he is a pretty fast driver, but definitely isnāt competing for the championshipĀ
there are so many more experienced drivers on the grid, he does his best but his top result during the season is probably a p5
he definitely has some wins under his belt, especially during his karting and f4 days
isnāt a prodigy by any means, but he definitely has some talent to speak of
he has good reaction skills and reflexes, so while other drivers are crashing on track, heās able to avoid most collisions and save his race
honestly heās just thereā¢
doesnāt have much drama during the seasons, doesnāt impress with his driving skills that muchĀ
he would probably have to do another season or two in f2 before heād even be on a list to consider for f1, but heās constantly showing improvement and growth so there definitely is hope for him!!
heās honestly just there to have fun, thoughĀ
even if he doesnāt make it to f1, he wouldnāt care too much

ā race review!  ֢֢֢ āļ¹canadaĀ [ 06/15/25 ]
šļø_ā gr63, mv1, op81, ka12, lh44, fa14, ln4, cl16, fc43, & aa23 are the quali top 10!
š§āāļø
well that happened
if i had a nickel for every time i missed a grand prix and had to catch up watching it on overtakefans many hours later because of a family brunch with my grandparents that started exactly at 11am, i would have two nickels. which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice
the starting grid was so fucked up in between quali and the race with the amount of penalties. the highlight, of course, being liam lawson's 50-place grid penalty which actually has me in tears š like genuinely was that necessary
of course the george v. max turn 1 anticipated carnage was all the media could talk about for a span of 24 hours, but george got a great start off the line with max falling cleanly into place right behind
but WAIT
WAIT WAIT WAIT
in a stroke of unprecedented unexpectedness and vengeance for the miami sprint, kimi antonelli overtakes oscar piastri for p3 by sneaking in around the outside within the first three turns
naturally i was freaking tf out fighting the demons (first antonelli podium v. piastri wdc campaign), but little did i know...
the pirelli report: mediums were terrible, softs were scarcely touched, and everyone wanted to be on the hards
i thought i was hallucinating the groundhog corpse because nobody on f1tv mentioned it but NOPE. the literal VEGAN on the grid, LEWIS fucking HAMILTON has actually steamrollered the thing
aaand that's another square on the f1 bingo
the worst/funniest part is lewis actually sustained DAMAGE that affected him throughout the race š of course it's a ferrari driver that suffers because of this
ferrari stats for the weekend include 0 podiums, 1 groundhog killed, 83749748 rumors emerging from the hellfire of italian media, 18 points, at least 3 separate incidents of charles pleading with the strategy team, and 1 aborted plan c
truly a miracle that this team frauded their way into a constructor's p2 for a hot minute (affectionate) while also taking their third consecutive win in le mans
alpines š¤ mowing the lawn ft. lance stroll (his fault) and alex albon (his fault?)
is that a glimpse of williams era franco i see? š¤
in other news, the merc--aka the current constructor's p2--actually functions in more than 1 (one) temperature
as proven by george russell playing pit stop ping pong with max verstappen throughout the race and narrowly but confidently maintaining the lead without making any mistakes (once again proving the does nothing -> great result agenda)
both alex and liam retired from pu issues
fernando alonso got a trucker mustache and pace (!!!)
esteban and carlos both scored points on the 1-stop strategy charles mourns
nico hulkenberg apparates into the points for the second race weekend in a row
meanwhile it is important to note that before the race nico ROSBERG took a selfie in front of turn 1
i wonder what that could mean-
a papaya incident. of course it was a papaya incident in turn 1 in the final four laps of the race
so kimi is running in p3, oscar in p4, and lando in p5, all with similar tire conditions. lando reaches the back of oscar in within drs range, and oscar closes that gap to be in kimi's drs range to keep lando behind him
kimi pulls away farther in the cleanest air, oscar is now out of drs range, and lando makes an INSANE move into the hairpin until they're side by side going into the final chicane
oscar goes late on the breaks to keep the lead going into turn 1, and lando goes for a move along the pit straight for a gap that didn't open up so his front wing hits the back of oscar
lando is out of the race, comes on the radio to apologize, and mclaren pr are working overtime to brush everything under the rug while i just KNOW the dts crew is having a field day
and omg lando was having a really great recovery drive from p7 before this too š
mclaren PLEASE keep letting them race š you've got the constructor's locked down and lando and oscar will be good I PROMISEE i cannot promise but pls
cracking up thinking of kimi seeing this shit go down in his mirrors
papaya incident causes a safety car to be deployed for the final laps, and the race finishes under the safety car with a george-max-kimi podium
the absolute villainy between george and max needs to be studied š while the mclaren drivers are falling over their own two feet for each other, THESE mfs will do anything to gain even the slightest advantage (flashback to the legal battle in miami, max's attempted murder in spain, george's recent gaslighting, and we haven't even TOUCHED 2024), making peace only to coparent kimi
the fia stewards took 5 and a half hours to make up their minds on 10+ investigations, only to chuck a 5 second penalty at norris and call it a day
i'm actually in tears the man didn't even finish the race and he gets a 5 second penalty??
thank god for the kimiodium š

š¢š š šš¦šØš”ššš„š¦š§šš”ššš”šš¦ šš”š š¬š¢šØš”š šš¢š©š.ćkimi antonelli Ā· #12

ćććkimi has been trying to get your attention for years, frustrated at the fact that you only seem to recognize your brother's race results. is he really that invisible to you?
genres : fluff ... slight enemies to lovers ... reader is ollie's sister ... kimi antonelli x fem!reader.ćrequest : anon for kimi + "did i... did i kiss you last night? i can't remember." for the 100 eventćword count : 2.1k.ćwarnings : alcohol consumption (both reader and kimi get drunk) ... good old liquid courage helping reader out (could be read as underage drinking depending on the laws, but in australia and italy its both 18 so let's say it's not underage drinking lmao).ć note : i started writing this ages ago like literally right after australia and it's taken me this long to revisit the fic and finally finish it </3 but it's here now so yay!!ććć( masterlist )ć( taglist )
Kimi woke up with a buzzing headache. He had to attribute it to the alcohol consumed the night before while celebrating his race result in Melbourne. Twelve points scored on debut. It was certainly an astounding feat. Even now, articles were still being released praising the performance of the eighteen year old. Kimi couldnāt be happier. With a race as unpredictable as that to start out the season, any driver would just be happy to finish it without crashing. Almost getting a podium felt amazing.
Even with the pain burning across his forehead and slight ringing in his ear, Kimi couldnāt help but smile as soon as he woke up. Simply put, yesterday had been everything he couldāve dreamed of. There was still so much more to work towards, but just for now, he felt totally weightless, like he was floating through the clouds. Nothing could touch him. Nothing could bring him down from this high. For once, Kimi felt on top of the world.
That was, until it all came crashing down as soon as his eyes fell on you.
So much for nothing being able to bring him down from his high.
Anyone who had ever seen you and Kimi in the same room knew that you didnāt quite get along well. It wasnāt extreme hatred or anything, but you had always gotten on each other's nerves since you were little. Worst of all, you just couldnāt seem to stay clear of the other.Ā
Being Ollieās sister, you were always there at races in Prema and even now in F1 as well. Kimi could not evade you. He saw your face everywhere.
He got along well with Ollie, but he often wondered how you could even be related to him. You were so different. Ollie was hardworking and precise while you always seemed laidback without a care in the world.
It didnāt stop you from being put together. Somehow, you were always effortless with whatever you did. Kimi never knew if you were trying hard or if everything just came naturally. The public loved to plaster the words prodigy next to your name. As someone who had been called a prodigy himself for many years, maybe there was something about you that intimidated him.
Perhaps he felt threatened by youā by your seeming perfection throughout every challenge. He knew how much he truly struggled to live up to the expectations set for him; how filling a seat that used to belong to Lewis Hamilton was pressure he wasnāt ready for. Until the race in Melbourne yesterday he was so sure he would crack under it all as soon as he got into the car.Ā
Some days he felt that maybe he just wished he was a little more like you. You were in the same situation at times; both of you had lots of expectations thrown at you, and endless pressure to perform under the hardest circumstances. Maybe he wasnāt made to handle the pressure. He didnāt want to find himself crumbling under it all when someone like you would surely shine.Ā
Besides your connection to Ollie, you had no real spot in the world of Motorsport. You didnāt drive, nor were you interested in engineering or strategics. Yet whenever you were outside of your own world, you found your way into Kimiās. You were always there at racesā often one of the first faces he saw when he stepped out of his car. He didnāt know why his eyes always seemed to find yours before anyone else's, or why he couldnāt get his brain to stop being annoyed whenever he did see you in the heart of the crowd. He felt relieved when you missed a race, as if it was finally a time for him to relax and not care about the result. But then the obvious questions arose in his brain.Ā
Why did he care about you being there? Why did he hate to see you cheer so proudly for your brother? Why did it sting when you didnāt cheer him on the same way?
But those questions were all old in his mind; all had their chance to linger for months and drive him slowly mad when he realized he wasnāt ready to face the answer. The main question that plagued Kimiās headache-stricken brain right now was how the hell you had ended up falling asleep in his arms.Ā
Your head lay against his bicep, effectively trapping him. There was no way he could get up without disturbing your sleep, and for some weird reason a part of him was screaming to let you continue dozing. So he did. He lay completely still, eyes tracing the outline of your figure, quieting his breaths that seemed deafening against the silence of the room, as if they too might wake you up.
You were still in the outfit you wore the night before to celebrate the first race of the season, cheering on your brother of course. And even though your hair was a bit messy and your face bare of any makeup, you looked perfect in Kimiās eyes. So full of life even though you were fast asleep. So comfortably situated in his arms as if you were meant to be held by them, even though this was certainly the first time he had been this close to you.Ā
The moment shouldāve been peaceful, but to Kimi, it was anything but. His thoughts were racing faster than his car could go on track and he gulped as denied feelings he had kept down for so long floated up again. He tried to press them down once more, hide them for a while longer. Once you woke up he could make sure you pretended none of this ever happened and life would go back to normal. But he wasnāt sure he could do thatā wasnāt sure that reality would be one he was able to accept.Ā
As his headache cleared and the events of the previous night settled in his memory a bit more intelligibly, he remembered exactly how he had gotten here in this bed with you securely in his arms.Ā
He had been a bit tipsy. Not fully drunk, but definitely enough to not think quite clearly. And you had been overconfident in finding yourself in places you shouldnāt have been. Such as, attached to Kimiās arm; lips finding their way onto his.Ā
At least, he was nearly sure that had happened. He vaguely remembered the taste of tart cherry on your lips that was likely from whatever you had been drinking during the party. And you must have refused to leave his side to go back to your own hotel room to have ended up in his arms the entire night.Ā
And at that realization of his, your eyes fluttered open. You stared at him for a second, first in shock, and then in realization. You gasped and sat up straight, finally letting Kimi relax the muscles he had tensed to keep still.Ā Ā
āDid I⦠did I kiss you last night? I canāt remember.ā
Kimiās breath hitched. So he wasnāt just making that part of the night up. His silence was enough of an answer for your question.Ā
āIām sorry. I mustāve been more drunk than I realized,ā you whispered in embarrassment, slipping a bit further away from Kimi once you realized just how close you had been lying to him. He bit back the words on his tongue that wanted to tell you to stay where you were, that he didnāt mind the closeness.Ā
āItās fine. It was just one kiss,ā Kimi assured quietly.Ā
āAre you sure itās fine? You donāt sound sure,ā you said pointedly. And you would be right about that. Kimi really wasnāt sure it was fine; not about the kiss, but how he wished it would happen again. How he wished it wasnāt just one kiss. How he wished that it hadnāt just been a drunken mistake on your part. Was it fine that he felt this way?
Kimi took a breath, āWhy did you kiss me?āĀ
You were hesitant to answer. Some anxious part of you didnāt want him to know how long you had wanted to kiss him before this; how many months you had spent harbouring a secret crush on him. You went with the half truth.Ā
āI guess I just wanted to congratulate you on your race result. Your drive was incredible yesterday.āĀ
Kimi could tell that wasnāt the entire reason.
āYou never seemed to care before now. You only ever celebrated Ollieās achievements, even when I scored higher than him,ā Kimi reminded you, sounding a bit hurt even though he didnāt mean for it to come across that way. āHas it changed now that I made it into F1?āĀ
āOllieās my brotherāāĀ
āSo I have to become family just to get you to cheer for me?āĀ
You sighed, āI didnāt mean it like that. I was happy for you before this race. In all of F2 I did want you to succeed as well,ā you defended, explaining the situation you hoped you wouldnāt have to touch on. Your feelings around Kimi were complicated.Ā
āIf you were happy for me, why did you never show it? I thought you hated me all this time because you never spared me more than a glance. I tried so hard to get your attention at the beginning and prove that I was an amazing driver like they all said I was, just for you to not even look at me. I was happy whenever you werenāt at a race cause it felt like I could finally breathe and drive just for the team without you on my mind for once.ā Kimi was rambling at this point, his voice frustrated but earnest and still somewhat soft. Even if he was upset with you, he couldnāt raise his voice. And before he realized it, he had spilled much more than he ever meant to. He went quiet when he realized your eyes lingering on him, observing him so carefully.Ā
āAll this time, you wanted my attention?ā you asked.Ā
āIt was all I wanted.ā
You let out a sound halfway between a laugh and a sob, covering your face with your hands in disbelief at the truth. It was comical, really, just how badly you both had misjudged each other.Ā
āSo all this time⦠you were trying to impress me? And I was trying to avoid you because I thought it would be easier than getting close to you,ā your voice got quieter as you trailed off. āI knew I could never stay friends with you. Iāve liked you for so long. Thatās why I kissed you last night, Kimi,ā you confessed, nervous but somewhat at peace with how everything was coming to light. It was nice to not have to hide it anymore. Even if he rejected you immediately, you would be at peace with it.
Kimi went quiet at your admission. You watched his adamās apple bob down in a rushed swallow, his eyes darting away from your face as heat crept up his neck. You looked down at your hands, nestled in your lap above the covers. Your fingertips fiddled with the duvet on the bed, picking at the soft fabric absent-mindedly.
āSo⦠what happens now?ā he asked. Your eyes met hisā those golden brown irises that always stuck in your mind, taunting you, teasing you, torturing you.
You took a breath, āIām not drunk anymore, so there can be no excuses this time. If I kissed you again right now would youāā
You never got the chance to finish your question, much less prepare for the suddenness in which Kimiās lips found their place on yours. With your mind clear of the alcohol and the atmosphere being the complete opposite of last night, you allowed yourself to truly enjoy the feeling, knowing it would stick in your mind forever. You could barely recall what the kiss last night felt like, but you were sure it couldnāt hold a candle to the tenderness with which Kimi kissed you now.
His hand on your jaw, thumb ever so lightly stroking your skin to the same rhythm his lips danced on yours to. His patience was contrasted with your eagerness as your fingers laced through his hair, pulling him closer to you, deepening the kiss in whatever way you could.
At that moment it felt like nothing else mattered. Not the countless headlines and articles about Kimiās incredible debut, not the next designer brand deal you would shoot for, not even the possible aftermath of you and Kimi becoming a thing. You didnāt care about how your brother would react or if he would approve or not. It wasnāt his place to butt in with an opinion either way. You knew from the way that Kimi kissed you that he was yours now, no matter what anyone said. Nothing could make you happier than that realization.Ā
Perhaps it wasnāt just Kimi floating on cloud nine, for there seemed to be another result even more satisfying than finishing P4.

If you really think Lewis was āovertaken on meritā you are either stupid or going for rage bait.
all i mean by "overtaken on merit" is that it wasn't a pitstop undercut, or a weird safety car switchup. it happened out on track š¤·āāļø
like without question lewis is the better driver (cannot believe i have to say this in the year of our lord 2025 i mean it should just be a given that i don't have to clarify?? he's the best driver in f1's entire, decorated history??) and he definitely was on a tire deficit at the end fs--all i meant by this was a play on my earlier post from the chinese gp with ollie/liam, and my honest astonishment that a sauber was up in the points at all š
#just to be clear i am not a lewis hamilton hater š#love the guy actually#just very confused how tf the green tractor was anywhere NEAR the front that's all

ā race review!  ֢֢֢ āļ¹monacoĀ [ 05/25/25 ]
šļø_ā ln4, cl16, op81, mv1, ih6, fa14, lh44, eo31, ll30, & aa23 are the quali top 10!
propaganda i did fall for: the 2025 monaco gp will be entertaining
i swear they only keep it in the calendar for the aesthetics, qualifying, and charles leclerc's sanity (or lack thereof)
as it turns out all ferrari needed to do to have a MODICUM of speed in monaco was to slap on the 2024 rear wing, which is taking me tf out
like wdym the solution to half the car's problems was to ctrl+v A LITERAL FRACTION of the sf-24
if the rest of it doesn't roll up to spain i'm going to riot
done projecting lets move on to the race
right so mandatory two stop did absolutely nothing for The Good Of Racingā¢ļø
i am shocked neither of the mercs pitted at the beginning with plans to run long... like there was a full opportunity to do it under the vsc and they already had nothing to lose with qualifying out of the points
strategy so ass their excuse of simply FORGETTING about the 2-stop rule until lap 60 is genuinely plausible
noooo instead BOTH of them banked on a safety car late in the race, and there was none unless we count max verstappen hold up the lead, but we'll get to that later
gabi hits the wall :( he reverses and keeps going :)
pierre rams into the back of yuki, and was literally a single wire away from losing a wheel in the middle of the track
i had two cups of coffee before this race and i am STRUGGLING to remember what happened oh my god
alonsopoints thwarted again after smoke started coming from his car... so he did the sensible thing and took the asston slowcartin down the escape route
vcarb cooking with the strategy while merc were scrounging on the kitchen floor for crumbs (isack hadjar i see you, i hear you, and i believe in any and all of your future endeavors)
to liam lawson's credit (which is finally not made up of penalty points): he started p9, created a massive train to help isack, and finished p8
george russell š¤ alex albon
together in track terrorism
oscar piastri š¤ slow ahh pit stops
the highlight of the race was 100% the lestappen master plan
essentially for the last 20 or so laps, max was leading the race followed by lando, then charles and then a larger gap to oscar with one pit stop left to go while the others had completed all of theirs
he had a p4 finish LOCKED IN after pitting bc there was a 40+ second gap to lewis behind oscar
so what does the man do? obviously slow down out at the front, which allowed charles to catch up to lando and remain RIGHT ON HIS ASS for the entire 20 laps to overtake if he made a mistake
obviously it's in max's best interest for the championship if charles takes the win over lando and rb strategy was kind of genius for hoping it could play out, but i prefer to imagine they actively conspired this together in the back of a dimly lit monacan night club wearing hats and sunglasses like undercover kpop idols
to lando's credit, he didn't make any mistakes. no opportunity for charles to pass, max pit in the final lap, and he IMMEDIATELY speeds up out of drs range and set the fastest lap š
i can appreciate how max always finds away to fuck with lando's race when they are not beside each other in finishing position at all LMFAOO
incredible weekend for lando, honestly happy for him! winning monaco is an extreme morale boost and will do much for his confidence and momentum going into spa
i was rooting for the ferrari win š italian sacrificial lamb kimi was once again left to shrivel in the backmarkers for nothing (they literally left his pitstops to the very end) but ykw p2 is a miracle considering the expectations before this weekend
championship gap is down to 3 points oh my god i'll need thoughts, prayers, and a third cup of coffee for spain

With the F1 Movie release lingering closer and closer, itās time to have an uncomfortable conversation.
Forgive me for going all feminist on you (Iām not sorry), but have a seat and letās chat, yeah?
Letās discuss the negative impact this movie is going to have on women in motorsport as well as female fans, shall we?
Of course the obvious conversation is about the women working in motorsport. Imagine how poorly the plot is going to reflect on them. Why? Oh, well letās see. Youāve got an entire plot that revolves around the main character (whoās played by a misogynistic wife beater, by the way, great casting choice!) sleeping with his fucking female engineer.
Now bear in mind how thatās going to negatively affect the PR of women working in motorsport. Especially Laura Mueller, who is the sportās first ever female race engineer in its entire 75 year history. Who literally already has incels on the internet saying the only way she got her job is because she slept with someone.
And of course, consider the female fans.
There are so many of us out here every day fighting with male fans who think we ādonāt know anythingā and āonly watch F1 because the drivers are hot.ā We are constantly ostracized in this fucking sport and feeling like we have to prove that weāre even allowed to like it.
Can you imagine how poorly the F1 Movie will reflect on us?
All this movie is going to do is push the harmful, negative stereotype that F1 is a āmanās world.ā Itās just going to make women feel like they donāt belong in a sport where they already feel shoved aside.
So, and maybe Iām being a little dramatic here, but if you happen to know a female F1 fan, please be kind to her. Please check on her.
And to all my ladies, we do belong in this sport. Donāt let anyone tell you otherwise. šš
