biggest regret?

             mikyung hummed. truth be told, he wasn’t a person who had many regrets. “most regrets people have are not doing things they wanted to, right? i’ve always been the kind of person who leaps before he looks.”

             and it was true — all his life he’s been living for himself, while he wasn’t selfish per se he took oppurtunities where they came with ease even if they were few and far between. “i suppose my case is different, it’s something i regret doing. i regret...cutting off ties with my brother. it’s safer for him, like this, but...he’s always been a bit of a lighthouse for me, keeping me from going too far astray. sure, now there’s nobody to kill him to get after me, but he’s still my closest friend.”

                furrowing his eyebrows, mikyung drew his knees closer into himself. “or maybe i regret getting myself all caught up in the twisted mess i’m in now? i’m living a lie to everybody i know and there’s absolutely zero easy ways to get out of this shitfest.” he sighed, scratching his head. “like, i know it’s my fault and all that shit, but damn. can’t a guy live a life of peace around here?” mikyung said, though he had to let out a bitter tasting laugh at the very idea of it, hope for such a thing long gone.

hi! i figured i’d write a little introductory post before i get formally started. first of all, my name is ryan! i’m really excited to be here, and while this is my first time writing content like this, i’m super stoked to be broadening my horizons. 

also! i’m working and soon i’ll be going to school on top of that, so i apologize if my activity is slower than some. i’m definitely going to dedicate at least a couple nights a week to this roleplay and writing etc, but it’s a warning nonetheless. 

and now to the good stuff – if you want to plot, shoot me a message! i’ll probably write up a couple opens later as well though.
