max could swear he’s living the best life, stable job as an owner of a well-known mechanic shop, married with a beautiful pediatrician, and a safe home somewhere in a street of netherlands near his workplace. but in the reality, he’s just a big ol’ family man with a dream of having a big family with pets. and his dream is leading into a serious conversation with his wife on a random tuesday night in the middle of a living room.

“you know i love you right schat?” his wife - y/n - didn’t even bother to look him in the eye, “what did you do this time max?” “oh come on, i didn’t do anything! why would you say that?” max abruptly defended himself and went on his way to lay his head on y/n’s lap. she just sighed and moved the files she’s been holding onto the table and shifted her attention to her husband, “and what exactly do you want max?”

he just shrugged his shoulders and casually said, “i want a baby, or babies, kids, whatever you want to call them i don’t care. i- i just want some mini-us running around bothering me bothering you with their sticky hands and dirt covered bodies that demands attention from us. i know it’s kinda impossible but-" "but it is possible with different methods. maybe we can adopt, or find a surrogate." she offered, she always wanted kids too, but it always being a problem to them because her issues with fertility.

"finding a surrogate is weird, i don't want to see them pregnant, i want to see YOU pregnant. but i think adoption is the best choice for us, i mean how hard can it be?" he claims. "we have everything to support a kid, or maybe a few kids if you want."

max was wrong.

the adoption process was in fact, not easy. countless paperworks for days and every orphanage they visited declines their request, whether because the mom is incompetent for caring the children, or simply because they thought max was too "violent" with children. max thought they were ridiculous because his wife is actually competent, she works as a pediatrician for god's sake.

until an orphanage in the side of the city accepted their request for adopting, the orphanage even offered a chance to bring home more than two children at once.

max overjoyed at the news, he can't wait to tell y/n about this.

"jimmy, you are going to be a big brother!" max lifted jimmy and starts spinning the cat, sassy hot on his foot. "you too sassy! oh you two are going to be the best cat-siblings kids can ask for." and max lifted sassy too on his other arm. y/n leaned against the doorway, she had just gotten back from work and why the heck max was picking up the cats.

"what are you doing?" max suddenly jumped, surprised by his wife that has caught him lifting and spinning the cats around the living room.

"oh baby, i have a great news for us. the orphanage we sent a request yesterday accepted our request for adoption, they even offered us a chance to adopt more than two kids at once! here schat look." he put the cats on the ground and went to the coffee table to show her the email he received a few hours ago.

thank you for reaching out to us for the adoption system, we are very grateful for you two and we will help you to adopt children with us. because our orphanage have too many children at this time, and it almost not possible to us for caring so many children, and also because we are short-staffed too, we offering a chance to adopt more than two children at once. we can discuss and meeting the children at 10 a.m. this friday.

"max, this is the best news, we are going to be parents!" her voice wavering slightly, filled with mixed emotions and eventually hugging her husband.

they stayed there, capturing each other in a warm embrace, in the middle of their living room.

this is it, they are going to be parents.

max praised whatever gods up there for giving him a chance to be a father. if it only can be achieved by another methods, he promised to be the best father the kids could ask, not like someone he used to know.

ollie loved three things in his life, racing, his family, and his girlfriend (four if you count kimi actually, but he didn’t love kimi like that). and if you ask ollie what he likes most about his girlfriend, he will proudly say he loves his girlfriend’s tattoos that located around the back of her body.

ollie likes to trace the tattoos on his girlfriend’s body. he memorized them like the back of his hand. he will always ask some random questions while tracing his girlfriend’s tattoos. she’ll lay on her stomach doing something and ollie will lay with her while absentmindedly caressing her tattos.

“what do you think about me getting a tattoo? like a bear tattoo, i think it’ll be sick.” ollie asks while laying beside her on their shared bed. “you? getting a tattoo? we all know you scared of needles ollie.” she told him while typing in her laptop.

“hey! as far i am concerned i’m not scared of needles!” ollie defended himself, but his girlfriend didn’t take him seriously. “girl, you scream like your life depends on it while i was the one who’s getting tattooed.” she laugh at him without even moving her gaze from her laptop.

ollie gasped, feeling attacked start to attack his girlfriend with tickles.

“fuck ollie! stop please!”

“you attack me first, and i’m only getting my revenge here!” ollie didn’t stop, and tickling her more so she had to move her laptop onto the bedside table.

“okay you win, i’m sorry for calling you a coward.”
