no because the HATRED that the power rangers fandom has for matthew cook is INSANE to me. i was reading this fanfic. not really reading it, just seeing if my green ranger boyfriend showed up and NO JOKE, THEY CALLED HIM A CRUEL, RACIST JOCK?

this is literally out of character for goofy ass matthew 'matt' cook. and don’t give me that whole "oh, jayla. it's fanfiction, it’s GOING to be out of character." well, yeah, but at least make it slightly true to the character. NOWHERE in the comics was matt racist to trini or zack. hell, if we're going by canonical ships, he even had a relationship with aisha campbell (a black girl) in the future issues of the power rangers comics.

anyway, fanfic authors has this weird problem when it comes to bashing / slandering my fictional others (stares at fumu | tiff and her hatedom in the kirby fandom)
