oh my god if you don’t have an eating disorder or you’re trying to come to thinspo tumblr or god forbid the pro ana side of tumblr please run from this and don’t look back. i just saw a post from someone saying it’s their first day of their “ana journey” and they’re gonna need help through this. you do know your only ways out of this are recovery, going to treatment after treatment for the rest of your life bc constantly relapsing, or death? like this isn’t fun. it’s not a fad diet. it’s not a quirky lifestyle. it’s hell. obsessing over everything you put in your mouth, obsessing over how much you’ve burn, not eating for days, being constantly tired, hurting constantly, lying to loved ones, soooo many health complications. lose weight the right and healthy way because this isn’t a life you want i promise. this is my second relapse and it’s worse than ever and i’m scared for my own god damn self but like…. i’m so sucked into this i. can’t. stop. yet. run from this if you can PLEASE

You gotta be honest with yourself. It is very unlikely that “this is your last binge” and “you’re never gonna fall out of line again”. You will. But that’s completely normal. And to help yourself succeed, you need to take that into account, which is why: CHEAT DAYS ARE SOOOOOO IMPORTANT!!!! I know it might sound scary and crazy, but this mindset does miracles. Choose a day per week (or per month) when you’re allowed to eat whatever the hell you want. Because trust me, telling yourself “I can eat that on saturday” works so much better than “this is the last time”. Its never “the last time” and you know it. By telling yourself that, you’re setting yourself out on an insane binge, because you’re tricking your mind into thinking it will never be allowed those foods again - so it naturally dives into excessive consumption. By telling your brain that it will get the chance to have those foods every now and then, you won’t be so desperate to eat them, cause you’ll know it isn’t a door that closes forever - it’s a treat, a reward that waits for you at the end of the week. Cheat days also help avoid plateauing, cause they dont let your organism get used to your daily calorie intake. You need this.
