not enough people are not bringing up the fact that Pomni in ep 2 had a whole arc of being like scared of abstracting sort of and dreaming about how nobody would care if she did to realizing they would care when she saw kaufmos funeral

and then in EP 6 she asks what Jax would do if she abstracted and the answer was "i'd move on, I'd probably forget about you" which might bring back the existentcial crisis vibes from ep 2 a bit

"SOE" or Shadows of Enigma, The title Ive given to my oc's world/story

What if it was in the pov of the Kurome rather than the Humans? It would make sense, they almost act as shadows ( I did this deliberately) and to them Humans are a strange concept they do not fully grasp or understand. So they are quite litterally shadowing the Enigma's

I hate typing on tumblr and I lost my progress.

ALRIGHT SO this doodle depicts two characters. Kuro-Kita (right) and Frey Dempsey (left) (13 yrs old?)

The main situation is that this (a concept-ish) of Frey and Kuro-Kita’s meeting after around 7-9 months of not seeing each other. Especially after the kids and their friend group fell apart and all but abandoned their hangouts and connections to the Kurome World-

KUROME WORLD: A parallel dimension/world which is accessible by certain gateways. It seems to be an amalgamation of the world, put together like random game assets. Imagine Liminal Spaces, The Backrooms(?), or possibly the logic of AI slop

-Now let me explain Kuro-Kita First!

Kuro-Kita’s real nickname in the story is “Nakita” but I refer to her as Kuro-kita in order to make a distinction between Freys fictional persona “Nakita” and the Kurome who plays her/uses the character as their identity.-

Kurome: Strange creatures from the Kuro-World that basically observe, copy, and replicate. They yearn to learn and become something more. They have the ability to effectively shapeshift using their bodies and are able to release gas using their body mass that puts “illusionary fumes(?)” Into the air basically that can cause guided hallucinations of some sort. Most Kurome take on the forms of things they observe like animals and dedicate themselves to understanding how they should play that role as there is nothing much to do in the Kuro World (its pretty empty without all the stuff they've copied)

-Kuro-Kita and Frey were quite close as they worked together! The mostly unspoken deal was that the kids would have their characters/persona’s come to life and be able to live out and create cool stories and scenarios to their wildest imaginations while the Kurome would get to learn how to be more human-like and be able to observe and understand them more. As Kuro-Kita learned to act and behave she basically became “Nakita” most of the Kurome who were involved also adopted their “Kid’s” characters as their own personalities because they were effectively blank slates before that.

(BACK TO THE DRAWING) You likely havent seen Kuro-Kita’s normal design but this version is meant to look more tattered and wrong because the events before this had a fire involved in a specific area of the Kuro-World that the “Kuro-Kid” Kurome’s stayed which caused them all to be hurt, especially due to the fact that Kurome are generally weak to fire. so building back their original forms was difficult considering some were unlucky enough to have their “souls” basically burn up a bit-

Soul: A nickname given to the culmination of a Kurome’s being which gives them consciousness and effectively acts as their brain which stores information and is what they use to see. Kurome are able to split their soul to different parts of their body in order to protect certain memories/info.

-she also holds a shovel cause she kinda buried Kuro-Crow for starting the fire.

ONTO FREY! So in this they dont look fully normal? The arm is wrong and their face is blacked out but this is either because it isnt real and just a representation of Frey’s appearance or its a Kurome currently on them. Frey is the main person to have any Kurome be attached to them symbiotically/parasitically. They’ve mostly lost their sense of self in the past few months after their friend group fell apart and yeah I give up but yes the vibes.

also the name Berrush is bcs like "Berry" and "Rush" right but also because maybe "Breakfast Rush" and he seems like a waiter kinda guy

Idk if he's a chocolate-strawberry smoothie or a Chocolate-Cherry one... I dont wanna think about the logistics of crushed up sprout ajacent parts in his head

Man idk what to do with this fella that I created.

Ive got no name for him yet but Tisha would probably have beef with bro for making a mess all the time.. I think he'd hang out with Cosmo and maybe sprout too because of his love for sweets and baking makes a mess which he never really minds. Pretty fast guy whos always on the run!

Idk how the slowness effect would actually translate into Dandys world though..hmmm. His stats would probably be 3 skill check, 4 movement speed, 3 stamina, 1 stealth, 3 extraction speed

His stealth is one cause he isnt really subtle about how he does things but he still keeps a standard yknow..he still gets the job done
