Back when I had my RP blog, I invented a semi-OC that was Pixy’s F-15 (later X-02 Wyvern) and I named her Eagle. She was very powerful with an intimidating face (her faceclaim was Esdeath), but quite socially awkward, because she was a jet given human form. Talking to @biarith about her me want to revisit a bit (she also drew the design of both her ‘standard’ and ‘combat’ forms).

If I was writing an original story with her, it’d be a bog standard isekai. In her previous world, Eagle was the fighter jet of the best pilot in the air force. As flew through her last mission, an impossible airstrike through a tunnel, her AI started to become self-aware and cared deeply for the pilot, so she saved him more than once and they managed to destroy the target. However, it wasn’t enough to save them.

The pilot wakes up being dragged by a woman through a forest. They find a group of adventurers and the woman is so desperate that she threatens them with a Vulcan gun morphing into her left arm, threatening to shoot them if they didn’t help the man. The adventurers’ leader recognized her threat is out of despair, not malice and agrees to help. As he talks to the pilot, she says things like, “I’m glad you woke up, captain” “I’m so happy, captain”. The man doesn’t seem to recognize her, while demons attack the group. The adventurers are preparing for a tough fight, but Eagle just trounces them with her superior firepower. That’s when the pilot realizes that the woman is his jet.

Later, they learn they’re in another world, where weapons can gain a powerful and autonomous human form if certain conditions are met. The usual living weapons are swords, bows, etc, but Eagle is a living F-15, with a lot of firepower due to her Vulcan gun, missiles and bombs (and she can have a more powerful form, she wears his aviator ray-ban glasses in her combat form) and everyone is counting on her to defeat the (insert Gwonam clip) faces of evil.

I can imagine she’d be like a daughter to her pilot. Poor guy broke his leg, he doesn’t get any fancy isekai powers and, even if he manages to walk again, he’s in no position of fighting, unlike Eagle. So, he has to help her navigate through the muddled world, while she becomes the face of hope of the heroes. He has to sustain her, because she eats a lot to replenish all her energy and ammunition. He has to help her deal with the stress of the weight of expectations, he has to deal with her new friends that are so different of them, maybe even a few love interest candidates. And the fact that she will fight the demon king directly.

That’s the idea I had, I’ve always wanted to write something like that, but I’m not starting a new WIP soon. I wonder if anyone who remembers from that time in my RP blog remembers her (gotta admit she wasn’t the most popular muse). This idea isn’t very original, but I wanted to change the perspective, by having the male lead being a more “passive” character, but at the same time behaving like a parent to someone else and he has to realize that "holy carp, my (adopted) daughter has a terrible fate".

So, I was playing PokéRogue and fused a Minun with Guzzlord and it feels like the Minun is piloting a mecha

Also, in the same run, there was a very satisfactory moment in the ending, when Ditto used Transform and then Dynamax Cannon on Eternatus. Absolute cinema.

I did it! I finally beat PokéRouge in the Classic mode (spoiler cutscene and team below)

And this was my team: I got that Giratina girl that randomizes your team, and Munkidori

Munkidori and Granbull were the MVPs in the battle against Eternatus (Nasty Plot + Psychic/Swords Dance + Play Rough), but throughout the run, the entire team was useful - Mega Sceptile with Tinted Lens is a monster and Typhlosion was half-Steel, so he walled a lot of enemies; Probopass also tanked a lot of enemies and Marowak was also useful sometimes.

I've been trying for some time, but I'm glad I did it.

I must have mentioned in some post that I have a degree in economics. If I want to be more technical, I'm not an economist because I can only be considered an economist in my country if I'm affiliated to the economists' guild regulatory body, but I suppose this distinction isn't relevant elsewhere.
