Half-Life 3 Confirmed

Half-Life 3 Confirmed is a catchphrase associated with the rumored announcement of the fifth installment in the popular Half-Life franchise developed by Valve. Since the release of Half-Life 2: Episode 2 in October 2007, fans have long anticipated the next installment in the franchise, which over time led to numerous intentional fake theories that have little to nothing to do with the games. Fans are still hopeful for a release someday. Within this space is a crossing where you are standing on right now. This crossing leads you to 3 different segments in the community surrounding the confirmation of Half Life 3. There is still no certainty if the game will ever be released. A group of people is very certain it will come out eventually and another group has already given up all hope. Next to these two groups you have comments on certain Reddit pages where people speculate and discuss what could happen or where they just tell that they had this amazing dream where the game Half Life 3 was released. But unfortunately.. it was all a dream.. This has been made in Garry's Mod.

Blur

FF Blur a font created and designed by Neville Brody in 1992. Blur defies all rules of type classification. Brody sought to evoke the experience of living in an ‘information society’ with his design. The font fits in the category of experimental fonts. An experimental font is a font that leaves parts like spacing, leading, weight and size to become something experimental. Blur is also a process font, meaning that it isn’t written or drawn, but produced through mechanical (or in this case digital) means. Brody used photographic processes to extort and extrude his letterforms into contorted illegible shapes. Instead of using photographic processes Instagram became the tool for this type review to change and avoid the already known typefaces. By using the same Instagram filter over and over again. The familiar typeface Helvetica transformed in shapes and forms that are uncontrollable. The filter Structure was applied 25 times per letter. You can find the Instagram of BLUR here

Equality is based on the the differences between men, women, feminism, masculinism and gender. The font is based on the different groups but combined to one. A sans-serif and a serif font are mixed up to create this unidentifiable font where you can’t call it sans-serif or serif anymore. Where you can’t call it male or female anymore. Shutterstock is a catalogue of images used by the culture/religion of the Universe People. The Universe Peopleis a group that is convinced that the world is doomed. And to live on we have to make contact with the aliens. When researching this culture/religion we found a pattern of images. Specific images of grass fields, healthy food and spaceships. These are only a few of the 13 topics included in the book. It looked like all these images came straight from Shutterstock. We used Shutterstock to collect all of these similiar images the Universe People also would have used. In collaboration with Jeanine van Berkel.

These stamps were used as a reflection on the FluxusWorkbook. Short cue's of short sentences where you have no idea what they mean. If you would put in another word into a random sentence you get this new outcome of a Fluxus task. With these stampsheets you could pick a word and put it in a sentence where you would see fit.

Stressblocker

This project was meant to help ourselves in times of need. The idea is that the product checks your heartbeat and when you're stressing out over work, study or something else it will inflate and block some of your senses. We chose vision and touch by hand. Both are very much needed when you're working on a project but also very personal. Without vision or touch and even a slightly muted voice, there is nothing else that you can do than rest. When you become rested the airbags will deflate and you may proceed your work.
