As a disclaimer, I'm not deaf nor japanese, I got this from educational videos I watched, but I'm open to learn more, so if anyone who actually knows JSL has notes on this I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I think one of the most profound forms of love is "I'll try that, for you. I may not like it, but I'll try it."

It's a confused middle-aged man in a pottery class, whose daughter is helping him with his clay's plasticity. It's a kid scrunching up their brow while listening to their mom's favorite music, trying to figure out why she likes it. It's a girlfriend who says "Yes, I'll go with you" and her girlfriend cheering and buying a second ticket for a con. It's a friend half dragging another friend through an aquarium, the one being dragged laughing and calling out "Wait, wait, I know we're here for the exhibit, but I haven't been here! Slow down!"

It's being willing to spend some of your time trying something new because it makes someone you love happy.

So backstory to this is that my roommate and best friend got a beanbag the size of a bed and it was sitting in the middle of our apartment for a while. It was extremely comfortable and I would curl up to sleep in it, but because it was so big I’d sink into the center and people wouldn’t know where I was lol. It was nice though, cause The Bean was big enough to share!

It’s nice to snuggle with friends or siblings! I love how Rise wrote the brothers to be more physically affectionate

the tracking service for online orders at work keeps glitching and showing the drivers' location as somewhere off the african coast, so me and my coworkers have developed a ritual of standing in a circle and chanting "banished to the ocean. banished to the ocean." like evil sorcerers each time we go to accept an order and every time the location tracker shows them lost at sea we high five and cheer
