Well, well, well... To be honest, I don't really know what to say about this. So let's just wait.

Interstellar - Filmkommentar

Nachdem ich ihn heute das zweite Mal nach einer Woche bewusstem Abstand gesehen habe, traue ich mich jetzt endlich, ein paar Worte zu Interstellar zu schreiben. Ich bleibe dabei aber vorerst bei Stichworten.

-Spannender, emotionaler Plot: check.

-Fantastische, intensive Bilder: check.

-Epischer Soundtrack von Hans Zimmer: check.

-Grandiose Besetzung durch Matthew McConaughey (und, ja, Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon, Michael Caine, Jessica Chastain und (!) Mackenzie Foy): check.

Damit ist in meinen Augen ein weiteres Nolan'sches Meisterwerk gelungen, ganz ohne unnötige Effekthascherei und hirnlose Action (*Räusper*Man of Steel*Räusper*).

Und von diesen Punkten mal ganz abgesehen, komme ich nicht umhin, auch folgendes Statement noch mal abzugeben:

Genau so muss Science Fiction. Rätselhaft, verwunderlich, abstrus, fantastisch und eben nicht immer logisch: Ich möchte mich als Zuschauer wundern über das, was ich da auf der Leinwand sehe. Und Reisen durch Wurmlöcher und in Schwarze Löcher sind da genau richtig angebracht.

Hinzukommt das ungewöhnliche Setting: Die fremden Welten, die endlich mal wieder tatsächlich fremde Welten sind (und nicht einfach als Dschungel- oder Gebirgsplaneten unserer Erde viel zu sehr ähneln) scheinen fast einem Stanislaw Lem-Werk zu entstammen und ich schätze, ich war nicht der einzige, den die Szene in der Singularität an 2001 - Odyssee im Weltraum erinnert hat.

Und dann wäre da noch zu guter Letzt die nicht zu verkennende Symbolträchtigkeit, die dieser Film im Gepäck hat. So möchte ich zum Abschluss nur noch ein Zitat anfügen, und mich dann mit einer Wertung von 9/10 Punkten verabschieden:
