This is a picture of my good friend and mentor Dr. Gilbert Miller.  He recently passed, way too soon, and will be missed beyond anyone’s imagination. Gil was a husband, father, and proud grandfather. In his professional life. Gil was not just a visionary, but a man of action. He could spot trends long before most. He was CTO at a science, technology, and strategy company in Washington, DC suburbs. His life and his accomplishments had an impact so unbelievably positive, that they will last for many years into the future. Thank you for being the influence and leader you were.

Blogging is Important to Cultural Preservation.

I have always wondered why it is so important for me to blog.  I believe the act of blogging is a critical  way to communicate the important news and thought leadership that is influencing us in this particular time and space in history. As ancient cultures communicated to each other, and subsequently to future generations through drawings, our digital form of communication will serve to educate future generations on our influences, whether good or bad. So I do hesitate to share inner thoughts and news of the day, because much of what goes on in our society would be better forgotten, it is still a mechanism that will give our grandchildren an idea of what shaped their existence. So I will pontificate when necessary, and blog as long as I have something worth contributing.
