Allen being all “don’t worry he’s not mad at you Kanda just hates my company sm” with that stupid sad little smile only for he and Kanda to be joined at the hip and sharing a braincell for the entire rest of Timothy’s arc will never not be funny to me
To celebrate Totk nearly upon us, i figured i would put together another photoset with a few of the pics i’ve taken recently using some of the screenshotting tools (and tons of mods) i’ve scrounged together over the last few years, allowing me to do things in-game like change the weather, time of day and atmosphere, as well as spawn things (like King Rhoam, Zelda, the divine beasts, trees, petals, etc) and even use various animations to bring out Link’s character a bit more in certain shots.
[ID: Digital drawing of Link as depicted in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, standing facing upwards with an intense expression, body soaked red with gloom. Drawn against a black background. End ID]
I hope fandom atleast noticed that during 'umi e' Mafuyu was actually drowning metaphorically and had to think of Ritsuka's face in Minato Mirai to try to keep himself grounded
(I think Ritsuka's voice helped him at last). And he started being lively only after 'umi e' ended and they played another song.
'umi e' wasn't something Mafuyu wanted or requested for. He was thrown into it. While already having an emotional crisis because things were reminding him too much of his past which he would've rather forgotten.
The memories were what he was thrown into! He was trying to fight them, find his bearing. He had to look away from it to look at the memory of Ritsuka's face when he confessed to Ritsuka, he was trying to cling to Ritsuka's memory to keep himself grounded. He was so brave and looking for Ritsuka to anchor him.
But it wasn't enough. See he was drowning still!
And then Ritsuka started singing.
Ritsuka saved him. Ritsuka's voice brought him back from a nasty panic attack, brought him back from giving up, because he could recognise the kindness, the love, however misguided.
Also if I may point it out, before Ritsuka started singing, no one even understood that it was indeed a love song! Mafuyu was drowning in grief, NOT in love.
Ritsuka's voice was what brought the love out. Because Ritsuka himself was the source of the love. And pulled Mafuyu out of 'the sea'.
