Hey, it's ok if you fail, as long as you tried and would do better next time. I have stopped associating my scores with intelligence, cuz they're not 100% related. Just curious, but is there any scenario at all where you could imagine Tom crying? You could use any of your toms. Sev dev Tom, White dove etc. I just cannot for life of me imagine him shedding even a single tear

And yes actually!! As someone who has known a lot of men with massive issues expressing emotions through crying, I think there are two scenarios that I could plausibly imagine Tom crying.

The first isn't so romantic - he's a selfish guy with a conceited worldview, I think he would cry when confronted with absolute hopelessness for his own prospects. White Dove Tom would be crying in his cell, for example. I think it would be a mix of fear, frustration, horror, denial, and dawning realisation = hopelessness.

The second a bit more romantic - I don't think there's many traumatic/upsetting scenarios that would bring Tom to tears; if you develop an aversion to crying from normal stimuli (pain, sadness, disappointment, fear, and anger) from a very young age, it never really comes easily when you're grown up. Maybe he would after a long time in healthy emotional situations, but definitely not earlier on in his life. In my experience it's only during intense and largely unfamilar emotions that people like that cry, things like overwhelming relief, or love, or emotional fatigue. Things that aren't so common and aren't the sort of thing they've hardened against. Sevdevs Tom wouldn't cry when he's walking into battle, but he might when he's walking out.
