i’m still going back and forth on whether to get a new phone this year or just save up for our taiwan trip next year. jowa says i don’t need to upgrade every year, but it’s my call in the end. i’m super pumped for our taiwan trip though, especially for duh, pop mart! 😂

my partner's team had a team-building activity yesterday, and before joining his colleagues, he made sure to ask for my permission. i couldn't help but laugh at how he always seeks my approval, but honestly, i appreciate the thoughtful gesture. i’ve always given him the green light, especially for team engagements, outings, or gatherings. still, he often chooses to spend time with me instead.

after 4 years, it's amazing how things haven't changed much. i had envisioned a love like this, and while it's everything i dreamed of, it still takes my breath away.

being loved is something i couldn't control, but it's reshaped me in ways i never expected - it shifted my perspective, lifted my confidence, and redefined my priorities.

Work update:

Yesterday, my manager and I had a talent discussion. Initially, I wasn’t expecting much. First, I’ve almost exhausted my vacation and sick leave due to personal commitments and health issues. Although I understand that I have the right to take these leaves, I felt guilty because I’m responsible for my team. Second, I just received my raise last year of December. However, she informed me that I received an increase, and it’s not just a simple raise. I’m thrilled and surprised, but I suppose I still deserve it. Thank you, Papa G. ✨
