Back to the Lafufus! Lafoobs! Chafufu! All of em! 🤣 They’re called a couple different things, but these are the guys who pop up most often in the swap meets, flea markets, and anywhere you find a “cheap” Labubu. (Not always cheap! I met a lady who paid $60 for a fake! 😭) I’m including detailed photos to compare the fake box to the real one, because when I first got interested in Labubu I couldn’t tell them apart! The biggest sign is the darker blue of the main Labubu, the texture of the box (the official one has a slightly rough texture to it, while the fake is more like satiny cardstock), the dotted background of the fake bag, and the bottom of the box is taped for the fake, instead of glued like the legit. The fake also has slightly lower quality printing for the Labubu designs (but you can only see it very close up, it’s very slightly grainy), and the box/bag are slightly larger. But if you were seeing this in a market, you would struggle to tell them apart! So my suggestion is check for the ‘wrong’ blue first, and then look for tape on the box. And for the Wings of Fortune… just look to see if she’s bald. 🤣
