rinne doesn't think he's ever uttered the words "i love you" to anyone before. after having lost his maternal figure at a young age and being thrust into the role of village chief, he can't say his life has allowed for any emotions of the like.

yet you make him feel so many things he never even knew he was capable of experiencing — you taught him how it felt to be alive. when he's with you, he's not just surviving; he can feel the thrumming of his heart against his ribcage with every breath he takes.

it's different from the thrill he gets when he's betting on a card hand at the casino, different from how exhilarating it feels to be on stage with his group. your gaze feels like the sun gracing him with warmth on a cold winter day. your touch is far too gentle for someone like him, he thinks; but he can't get enough of it.

so even if he thinks it's selfish, he allows himself to melt into your embrace after a draining day, allows himself to tear up a little and bury his face in the space between your neck and shoulder as your fingers run through his hair. he can breathe a little easier when he's with you — there's no judgement, even though deep down he doesn't understand how you can look at someone like him so adoringly.

he doesn't know how to convey his affection for you in words, so he settles for a searing kiss against your lips, praying to dear god that you understand just how much you mean to him. when he pulls away, he locks eyes with you, and his world freezes for a moment as you wipe away the stray tears collecting beneath his lashes. you don't say anything, but you don't need to — your smile, that he could only compare to that of an angel, tells him everything he needs to know.

he's overwhelmed with a sentiment that he doesn't quite understand, and before he knows it, the three words slip out like a prayer. "i love you." a mere whisper, though it weighed heavy in the silence of your shared apartment. there were no fireworks in the background, no grandiose confession, but it was soft and earnest and it was him.

it was a verbalisation of his devotion to you, how much he appreciated you for never leaving his side, even when things got difficult. your fingertips trace along his jaw softly, and when you whisper the words back to him, he decides right then and there that every hardship he's ever gone through didn't matter. because he had you.

rinne is brash, impulsive, and unpredictable, but more than any of that, rinne is yours. you make him want to be a better man, someone that deserves a heart as pure as yours. and as you kiss him again, he thinks he finally knows what love truly means.

After Israeli social media shared these videos and they got viral, they tried claiming these men were hamas members, THEY ARE NOT. They're civilians who were displaced with their families in shelters before Israeli soldiers abducted them.

Families are recognizing their brothers/fathers/grandfathers and sons by the videos shared here. They already executed a number of them.

As a Palestinian, this is the most painful, horrifying thing I had to witness. 63 days of bombing, killing a huge number of these men's families, you also abduct them and humiliate them while filming??? How can they take pride in this. This is genocide, this is holocaust 2.0 and I hope it hunts everyone who can put an effort to stop it but didn't.
