Banana Pie is the OC of an ask blog that's kinda sorta still around, I think. Sends in-character asks distributing bananas; been around for many years now, if I recall correctly. Other than that, I don't really know much else about them; it kind of sounds like prev is referencing some past controversy of some kind? But it could also just be because some might find that behavior slightly annoying; or even people they used to be friends with in the past (keep in mind that I'm pretty sure I remember seeing them around 10+ years ago, when some pony ask blogs were still active/running). Or simply because that's just a fairly normal person doing a fairly normal thing (being mildly annoying/interactive on Tumblr), albeit for several years.

That said, if they've done something serious, then I might be concerned. But as it is I know jack all about them; and if it was long enough ago, it might not even matter at this point. But yeah that's who Banana Pie is from what I remember.
