Hiiiiii, hello everyone! I present to you: a Risto sketchbook sketch! (Which actually is from last year, but don't tell anyone) - I sincerely hope you guys have been doing alright - as alright as it can get! Even on days that suck I hope you remember to treat yourself well! When it comes to posting I've been on a criminally huge backlog, foolishly torn between getting everything in order and share it, share only a few bits or barely anything at all. Gah! Who would have thought I would one day struggle so hard with this, ha! (Interestingly enough I have managed to keep my post-at-least-monthly-on-tumblr-streak for 14 years now (which feels unreal to type out). Since 2011!!! What is this time sorcery! I LOVE the water bubbles and the golden fishies so much, MAKES ALL SO MAGICAL (well, even MORE magical!) I keep looking at their happy faces and be all smiley myself! THANK YOU SO MUCH DEAR BEAN!!!

my heart is with the people of southeast asia affected by the severe earthquake(s) of the 28th of march, myanmar and thailand especially. the pictures, videos and rising number of people having lost their lives, of people still missing underneath broken down buildings is gut-wrenching. if you have the chance, if you are able to, please consider supporting humanitarian aids. there are plenty out there and I can only suggest you pick which works best with you.

I cannot believe I am learning about new things from these lovely drawing prompts on the daily! I've just found out about desert roses thanks to you and I suggest to everyone to look these plants up: chonky at the bottom and so long and twisty and bloomy on the top! so many fun shapes! desert roses are amazing! your profile picture inspired me to add a cat to the flower also. FLOWER CAT FLOWER CAT!
