Say goodbye to chaos! Hello to productivity with SchedAid.

As we are close to our final pitching, we remembered and noted the suggestions and comments made by our instructor and the other panelist during the Business Model Canvas Pitching Presentation. 

One of the suggestions made by our panelist was to add a feature that is more likely related to our main problem which is the time management or problems in schedules. So, aside from organizing schedules our group decided to add more features such as automatically import deadlines and other agendas from other application or platforms, booking system where people can add events or appointments through a generated link, provide tips and tricks to make most of the customers time, shows report and analytics to track productivity, and lastly, lock distracting applications which is optional. With these added features, we believe that this will not only help our customers to be productive, but also be able to use our app comfortably and conveniently. Also, it is much easier to schedule their classes, tasks, appointments, and etc. 

Aside from the suggestions and comments made by the panelists, during the lecture series that happened on April 19, 2023 at the University Convention Center in Central Mindanao University, we listened and took notes of the said lessons and tips given by the speaker. Each speaker has their own comments and tips, we learned and decided to apply these comments and tips which we know to be a huge help for us, not only in this subject (Entrepreneurial Mind) but also in our life. One of the things that we noted in the said lecture series was about Intellectual property rights and technology transfer as well as the copyright. It is very important for us to be knowledgeable and protect our intellectual property knowing the fact that we are producing an application and website. 

Lastly, we let two (2) customers tried our "SchedAid" and asked for their comments and suggestions about our Start-up. Based from the participants, they believe that this is helpful especially that students has problems and difficulties with their schedules and time management, just like them. SchedAid is easy to use and convenient unlike the Certificate of Registration (COR) which sometimes has issues like errors in the schedule, subjects and time. Also, COR can be damage easily knowing the fact that it's just printed copy and there's a possibility that it can be lost.

Overall, we are confident that we take notes the suggestions and comments made by the panelists, participants and the speakers from the lecture series. Applying those makes us believe that our start - up is useful and helpful specially for students or anyone who has problems with their schedules and time management.

SchedAid, your solution for procastination.

We are now starting to move forward after experiencing the COVID-19 Pandemic, people especially students are now having full face-to-face classes than the previous years where they're solely online, modular or blended learning.

We interviewed students from Central Mindanao University about what problems, difficulties or challenges they've encountered as a student during these full face-to-face classes. Some of the problems mentioned by the students are conflict in their schedule, time management, and mental health.

We created two options: one is about the internet connection or signal within Central Mindanao University and the other one is about time management where students have trouble getting by. We have chosen option two or plan B for we have envisioned what application or what ideas we come up with to create to give our fellow students the help that they need.

Students specifically irregular students has more problem with their schedules. To solve this problem, our group came up with the idea of "SchedAid",

This application is very simple yet helpful for students and high in quality. Students organize their scheduled classes so that they can update them whenever classes are suspended. It will alert and notify them five (5) to ten (10) minutes before their scheduled time for their classes.

This will allow students to monitor their mental health and aside from that, students can also access and play free-mind or relaxing games. Scheduling in a different method not only by organizing your scheduled classes but also monitoring your mental health is a notion that can be made. We will have our research and find reliable sources about what things to be considered in order to develop the website and application, which is the SchedAid, which we'll introduce to our customers. It will be used and analyze the benefits and effectiveness of this application to students struggling with their schedule, time management, and mental health issues.

Lesson Learned :

Our team gained knowledge about the value of thorough research, market analysis, and concise communication. In order to get the positive outcome we desired, our plan also needs to be altered. To design an app for the user, we should consider the wider picture. Additionally, venture proposals helped us hone our entrepreneurial abilities and improve our comprehension of how to launch a business.
