online communities are so strange because people slip away so easily. you can be on here for years, folding people you've never met into the fabric of your daily life, and then they disappear, leaving only ghost posts scattered across tumblr behind. or their blog stays dormant, for weeks, months, years, until you're only still following them because you remember that they love sunflowers or they were kind to you when they didn't have to be or the last thing they posted was sad and raw and you still worry about them sometimes.

and sometimes they come back when you least expect it, years later, even, and there's this sudden rush of relief like there you are, there you are, even though you barely knew each other.

there's a strange kind of love to it. i don't know you and i want to hold your hand across miles and time zones and oceans. i can still see the imprint of you in this community you left. you don't anyone will notice or care when you're gone, but we notice and we care and we wish you well.

i hope you're all okay out there. i hope the sun is shining on your face and you are breathing deeply. i miss you.

just dropping by to say that i've got a new blog !! It's called Megane-Musings , and essentially it's where i'll be dropping my kogure and slam dunk related content ! This also means that my current slam dunk posts on here will be migrated on over to the new one, just to clean things up a bit here . I'll still be answering lackadaisy asks on here, dont worry ! and can I request romantic headcanons about Rocky x fem reader who has heterochromia(left eye green and right eye blue) who throughout their entire childhood was bullied and ostracized because of her heterochromia which cause her to became very insecure about her eyes and she later hides there under her hair by covering half of her right eye with her bangs and when reader finally meets Rocky, she at first was awkward and also surprised by his loud rambunctious attitude but quickly warm up to him nonetheless soon starting dating him and even In their relationship, the reader is still very insecure about showing their right eye due fear of Rocky finding it weird and leaving her but in truth, when she revealed her heterochromia to him, Rocky is very star striking by her eyes and beginning complimenting her even more and even calling her eyes beautiful too which the reader cries after knowing Rocky loves her as who she is

Rocky has an eye for all things pretty, so naturally when he sees you he's already thinking of ways to describe your eyes -- vibrant, electric, prismatic ; the prettiest adjectives all across the board.

He genuinely can't comprehend why you'd get outcasted for such a thing. To him, it's a wonder ! Having eyes of different colors was something he'd love to have, and in a way he does -- through you!

He'd stare at your eyes all the time ! And all throughout he'd murmur prose under his breath, something about how your eyes remind him of northern lights shimmering between inky-black sky.

Needless to say, he'd compliment you a lot. Doesn't matter if you like it or not, he'll be saying some one-liner about how your eyes pull him in, how your gaze attracts him to you like flies to honey ( .. or rather, himself to pancake syrup ?), how the way your eyes shimmer in the daylight makes his heart grow wings and flutter like butterflies in his stomach.

When you cried at his compliments, he was concerned. At first he thought that you didn't like it, that he was pushing it too far. But then you explain to him and he just lights up, grinning from ear to ear.

He takes your cheeks into his palms, wiping away your tears with a gentle swipe of his thumb. Even when crying, he couldn't believe how pretty you are -- your tears seem to magnify the beauty of your eyes rather than take away from them.

And the compliments ? He keeps them coming ! Whispering words of endearment as you giggle in his grasp ; pulling you close and tickling your cheeks with kisses ; resting his forehead against yours so that he can gaze upon your eyes once more.

Goodness, you're so beautiful. Rocky can't believe how lucky he is to have someone as celestial as you for a lover.

Honestly, there's never a dull moment with Rocky ! Always asking for your affections, basking in your attentions, you name it ! Best bet he's always writing poems to show off to you !!

Rocky strikes me as someone who, when he falls for someone, he falls HARD . So he's pretty much whipped for you man, idk what else to tell 'ya ://

I feel like .. he gets jealous pretty easily . Like have you seen him when it comes to Mitzi and Wick ??

He's not jealous in the sense of wanting you to only pay attention to him and nobody else, but what gets him seething with envy is when you start to cast him aside for someone else . You could unconsciously shush him because he's interrupting a conversation between you and a good friend and the next thing you know he's spiraling deeper and deeper into insecurity ( someone hug him, please . )

But when he gets jealous, he would never take it out on you ! Let's say someone is flirting and smiling at you a bit too brightly -- Rocky would never get mad at you for that, but he'll just stare at that someone .. menacingly ...

And once they're gone he just beams at you and then triples his affections, like he totally hasn't done anything to drive the other person off :DD

ALSO !! Cuddle bug Rocky . Do with that what you will .

Bottom line : Rocky wants to be loved . He wants to feel seen and heard . He wouldn't say it out loud, but he genuinely does appreciate you for being one of the few people that doesn't treat him like something you can easily discard .
