Naveed deserved better than Cory sleeping with him and then freaking out BUT we have to remember that this is Cory Wilson! He’s never felt this before, he’s never had a meaningful relationship! So when someone comes along and makes him feel loved and good and safe, and that person is his male best friend, he panics! He’s scared! Questioning your sexuality, coming to terms with who you are, it can be a terrifying process, and this is so new to him. The “I’m not gay” comment shows that he’s aware of what’s happening, because he’s not saying he is straight, he’s just saying he’s confused and he’s scared.
All I’m saying is if Naveed can forgive him and love him and be his friend still, then we can give him a chance too. He does have feelings for Naveed, he’s just afraid.
