I have been practising hands and drawing what I can only describe as an emotion! The second image, I made from the original drawing as I was curious what it would look like in a pop art style! #drawing #art #emotion #popart #heart

I have been quite for awhile whilst I made this carpenters wheel quilt! It isn't finished yet but thought I would share the finished top sheet! What's amazed me is that quilts have meanings! The symbols in the patterns are often linked to religion, however these symbols were appropriated by slaves and their rescuers to send secret messages of plans to escape their captors! This symbol means freedom! 😊
