I don't believe in New Year's Resolutions. I'm not a fan of sudden change, I've never been able to hold myself to the stipulations of such a resolution. For me, meaningful change comes at a slow, steady, deliberate pace. So I'm holding myself to the same goal as I did last year: make more art. I think I'm gonna go with the flow of automatic art for a while. It's very therapeutic, and after the stress of the holidays, that sounds nice.
And a partridge in a pear tree! Merry Christmas fam! And a joyous holiday season to whatever and whenever you celebrate! I hope you've enjoyed my little 12-day art countdown. Have a happy new year! ✨🥂
8 Maids-a-milking! This one is a Nightjar, also known as a "goatsucker" in legend. The original background got smeared and I had to cut it out, but I think the snowflakes came out nicely. (Sorry this post is a day late, I was in the hospital)
10 Lords-a-leaping! The lord in question is a grey heron. I wanted to put a dapper cravat on him, but where would you even put a cravat on a neck that long?
