It’s the fact that ppl will conveniently forget that Anthony was also being bullied for me! I mean he was still far from blameless for how he treated Kenny, but it is so wild to me to see how poorly some people understand the social dynamics of kids that age. As if Anthony stood up out of nowhere and decided he wanted to hurt Kenny personally. Like one of the things s4 actually got right was the social hierarchy/experiences of children adding to the ostracization of others even while they’re being bullied themselves. Like it’s such an incredibly common experience! It happens all the time! And it’s super easy for even the nicest kids to get caught up in that. Granted that doesn’t negate the fact that they’ve caused someone else harm, but also. It’s a child. They’re children.
