I saw a video on Instagram of cosplayers dressed of BNHA characters and they have Mineta piñata. And they were bashing him real hard with a stick or a bat and others were cheering. I know it suppose to funny or fun but I didn’t find it funny, kinda feel bad for Mineta.

For him who wants to be hero gets lots of hate because he’s a gross pervert. Like other anime shows have ton of pervert almost like him. If he were a good looking pervert, will fans like him? Dabi and Himiko are good looking and pretty but they hurts other people. Or what about Stain, he’s kinda creepy and he kills but people still like him and say he’s a cool villain.

I probably will get hates for this but just expressing my opinion. I don’t like Mineta, he’s gross but he’s a not bad person. Unless he does something really disturbing or if he’s one of the “traitor” then that’s a different story.

mineta sexually harassed the girls,,,, they’re literally just teenagers. also, mineta is meant to be like a self insert in the story, so that means that horikoshi thinks that’s okay???? and the people who like mineta also clearly accept that fact that he sexually harasses teenage girls,,,, i really don’t understand why you like him, he’s done so much bad shit. he even literally groped tsuyu so what the fuck man

you’re telling me nothing I don’t know yet. I know that he touched tsuyus boobs and I never said I was okay with that, but again, did he force her to stay in place so he could touch her? she literally pushed him into the water after that, Tsuyu’s not the type to simply condone someone touching her, none of the girls are like that and Mineta didn’t try touching a girls boobs again, did he?

these panels are simply for comedic relief. after them, they immediately continue with the story, not mentioning it ever again, and I said multiple times already that Mineta is here for comedic relief. He’s here to release some tension in action-packed moments. I don’t think Horikoshi thinks that touching girls that way is okay, and I don’t think he wanted to say with these panels that Mineta is a rapist, harasser, or whatever y'all are calling him.

And as you said, they’re teenagers. Teenagers. If Mineta was a middle-aged man touching young girls’ boobs, I would fully understand your hate towards him, but they are in fact the same age. As I said in my previous post, there are perverted types in anime that are literally 110+ years old and still grabbing girls’ chests constantly. Mineta actively grabbed a girl’s boob once, and he’s 15, the same age as Tsuyu is. And if you think that’s worse than a century old man grabbing a teenage girls chest, butt and crotch then I can’t help you either. (I’m not saying that what Mineta does is good, nobody should touch someone without asking, but Mei did the same to Deku in chapter 101.)

If you don’t like Mineta, go on, I’m not trying to stop you. I just hate seeing people taking Mineta’s actions as comedic relief character so seriously. I really can’t fucking stress this enough, he is. Literally. A character made for comedic relief. And if you don’t think the stuff he does is funny, then that’s your own problem, not mine and leave people who like Mineta alone. We’re already the minority, anyway. Also, I’ve listed multiple reasons why I like him. Thanks.
