Hi, you're the first "Mineta stan" I've seen and if you happen to have the time, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the character? I have like...zero emotions about him either way (at most I'm vaguely bored by the jokes his scenes usually center around) and anyone who has spent a hot minute in the fandom knows what the general consensus is regarding him. Just curious about how you feel about him in the narrative and how audiences react to him? +Cheers & have a nice day~

Well, I do enjoy him as a gag character a lot lmao.

But I also like the idea of a mini underdog amidst 1-A. He isn’t seen as that powerful by the fandom, when in reality his quirk is beyond his amazing for rescue missions and trapping the enemy, especially with his agility and mobility along with the quirk.

I also relate to him on a perverted level (though, not as forward), but also on a social level. One of the lowest. Not really liked. Awkward. Smart (sorta). But that’s more of a personal thing.

I also really like his joke scenes. Those make me laugh a lot. Plus I enjoy his friendship with Kaminari and Deku. Pretty good shit.

I’m sad people can’t see the goods of his character and think he’s a rapist, or whatever else, even though he’s just a perverted little shit who needs to learn his manners from time to time.   

He’s a coward, but I think that’s a good character flaw, as everyone has flaws. 

But that’s only my thoughts. I know a lot of other Mineta fans and stans have differing opinions and thoughts on him, but those are mine. ^ ^ Hope it makes sense some!
