Volatile We had some pretty wild weather here yesterday. Hours of tornado warnings. Some places saw grapefruit sized hail. Drivers on a major highway got caught in the storms and had their vehicles destroyed by hail, with windows being smashed out. It was the most volatile storm day I've ever experienced. Absolutely terrifying storms last night not far from our house. Thankfully we didn’t experience the brunt of it, but was bad enough none the less. We’ve experienced that kind of hail storm before, not in vehicle though. I can assure you it scars one for life. Those poor people.

I went to my first reenactment to get some images for historical fiction covers. It was fun, although far too hot for this fair-skinned photographer. I would have liked to have stayed longer, but I had to get out of the heat. I have over a hundred images to keep me busy anyhow.

Well hello again. I used to use Tumblr back in the day shortly after it started. But when Instagram came along a few years later, I started posting there more and here less. I finally deleted my Tumblr account a couple years ago. Right before Facebook/Meta bought it out and ruined it.

So here I am starting again from scratch, wondering why I ever left.

So yeah, I make pictures with a special emphasis on the book cover market. Lover of dogs, birds, nature, laughter & tea. Believer in kindness, inclusivity & science. I hope we can hang out here a bit. Image available for commercial licensing from Arcangel Images
