Mailbox Tunnels - Hidden Spaces Brum
Beneath the mailbox, most of the original fabric from the 1970′s parcel sorting office. The house of commons passed a bill allowing a connection to be made between the new sorting office and new street station.
A 400m tunnel was constructed. This doesn’t appear on any maps however it does still exist. It is said that jewellery companies would send their diamonds to themselves over the weekends as it was super secure and cheaper than storing them in a vault.

New Alexandra Theatre - Hidden Spaces Brum
This edwardian building was originally constructed in 1901, however there has been numerous tragedies that link with this building. There have also been many ghost sightings within the walls of this building.
The deaths started in 1902 when an actress dies on the stage.
In 1910 the theatre owner was killed by a milk float.
In 1911 the theatre was under new ownership however in 1938 he died suddenly in his office and was discovered by his son who rushed on stage to ask for help. Unfortunately it was thought to have been part of the performance so they didn’t manage to help in time.
Above the stage there is a room which is called the ‘fly loft’ which is more than double the size of the proscenium. Within this is a highly complex rigging system that supports up to 60 curtains and items of scenery. This is all controlled in the fly room using up to 10 people, using exactly the same technology as it would have been around 100 years ago.

Steelhouse Lane Custody Suite - Hidden Spaces Brum
- Appeared on Steelhouse Lane in the 1890′s
- Described as a mini prison and houses up to 50 prisoners
- One of the oldest operational custodial facilities
- The building is grade II listed which means many parts cannot be changed including the toilets and cell doors.
- Underneath the prison there is a secure tunnel to the adjacent Victoria law courts.

KFC Chef Profiles
Something that would make people feel like the food that is made here is handmade and fresh would be to trust the people who cook it. A way to do that would be to get to know the chef. This could be done by chef profiling, which would be done by creating a profile for each head chef at each of the branches and make people aware of their qualifications, training, methods etc.. This could tie into the execution of the campaign to be included in the advertisements or other areas.

KFC Campaign - Handmade topic
The main point to put across with this campaign is the fact that the chicken is prepared by hand and is therefore handmade. These images represent that and this style of image can be used as inspiration if my campaign goes down that road.
