Like since when does that mean someone’s feelings can’t change???

It’s been repeated through stranger things that people will have their feelings change, Dustin originally liked Max, Nancy going from Steve to Jonathon, Steve liking Nancy and then Robin, Joyce liking Bob and then Hopper, like seriously how is that even a logical argument??

Her heart breaks into two yet she can’t understand just why exactly she feels this pit in her chest grow- she’s scared, she thinks to herself “Is it because Robin is gay?” But she realizes immediately that she doesn’t give a shit about that!! So then why does she feel so bad why does she want to cry? Is it because Robin wouldn’t trust her with her sercret? No, she couldn’t blame Robin for needing to protect herself. She was all to familar with keeping secrets. But that would mean… there’s only one other reason she could be upset, and if she needed air before, now she’s suffocating! She stumbles away knocking some shit over, a plant sitting on the steps of the porch, she feels dizzy and hot; she needs to get out of there NOW but then she hears her name..

A voice that calls to her and it sounds so scared and yet so relieved. But she can’t turn to face her she can’t, she can hear her running up to her, she hates how her heart clenches at the thought of her weird run, how quickly she began to adore every part of Robin.

But then there she is. Robin, desperately clutching her wrist, hand stiff yet shaking, soft but tight, scared to let go but scared to make her jump.

“Nancy please it’s not, I—“

And Nancy can’t bare to make Robin think she hates her, that would be too cruel.

So she turns around and puts on the classic wheeler- hide your feelings -mask and chuckles slightly, “Robin I don’t care if you’re gay, I just… need some air alright?”

Her hand is gentle compared to Robins grip, trying to reassure her that it’s okay to let her go, that Nancy isn’t going to leave her because of this.

But a flicker in Robins eyes shows she’s starting to read too deep, and she hesitates slightly before she lets Nancy go.

Nancy gets in her car… fuck.

obsessed with the idea of nancy leaving a party bc she needs some air and she stumbles out to see robin and vickie kissing outside and it blindsides her completely because she didn’t even know they were dating and her heart feels like it breaks in two

Dw guys ! Vickies family is gonna move away ! Robin is going to be extra pissed about how the one time she has someone who can truly see her for herself and that can return her feelings, the apocalypse has to happen ! And Nancy’s going to be pissed that even while the world is ending she has two dumbass dudes treating her like a prize to be won or a dramatic women to be ignored !!

They will bond even more !! And in the end they fall in love 👍👍👍👍
