The one true monster to put the FU in MHFU... APCEROS!
Even if you're fighting its' main predator in the ecosystem you can damn well bet it will still slowly make its' way to you just to headbutt or tail bonk you.

Hobby Ducks!
I was researching the use of hobby horses (specifically mast horses) in folk plays, as well as Mari Lwyd (that Welsh horse you have to poetry battle) and I had the idea to do “hobby horse but mallard duck skull instead of horse skull”. I had no idea there were that many academic research papers on the cranial kinesics of ducks, and I modeled some of their mouth-movement mechanics off of the way real bird mouths move. Overall, this illustration turned out a lot better than expected (though the colors in this scan look pretty washed out).
theyre my sons and i love them

I made a Junicorn c:
It's not quite as good as I wanted it, but I need to start pushing myself more often to accept a project as complete. Too often I find myself spending hours making something and then just scrapping/forgetting it exists. I find myself in a cycle where my motivation has gotten lower and lower because of it, I want to break that cycle.
