No one else asked for it and I probably have another 30 requests in my inbox for other AUS and I've been burned out and wanted die, so WERE BACK TO SELF INDULGENCE! Steven in my Crystal Mobians AU! Hes Half Gem, Half Mobian. The chaos emeralds are actually dormant poofed Gems in this universe, who use most of their own power to create a stable projection of themselves. Now that I at least got basic designs I can actually sketch some of this shit with sonic, with Earthlings and Eggman.

I started with making a baby Steven the lion and realized, oops, timeline wise where I put things, this is probably Steven Universe Future. So bonus baby:

you're fine. Its not about getting someone else to do it FOR me. It more of wanting community spirit. foster a sense of appreciation and creativity. Its been really heartwarming to see the creators appreciate what I make. Definitely a high of this...but I was hoping other people would join in in making stuff just because Its nice to make and talk about this stuff. I miss this show with all my heart. its my favorite thing. And seeing AUs makes me feel like we still alive out here, but like I dont want to just consume content. I wanna be with other people talking and making art and kicking our feet and giggling and shit. Its silly though for me to assume that would happen. And like, I DO like recommendations and requests, just like...give me some flavor. tell me about it! If you just say "do ___ au" not only have i never heard of 90% of this stuff so I gotta look and hope I found the right one, but it just feels like more of a demand rather than "Hey I think this thing is really cool and deserves some love"

I wanna see one of two of Jax-o-lotl’s discontinued blueberry Steven on the fanartapalooza because it’s was to unique for how it had blue kyanite and Nora universe I wished it got remade like lab raised Steven. 😔

Sorry I didn't add Nora, but how @blueberry-steven and @ask-whitepearl-and-steven started sounded so familiar, it made me nostalgic. Two orphaned diamonds on the run. Maybe instead of going to the kindergarden, they're on the train to beach city!

Honestly I wanted to do way more than a sketch, but my brain is really kicking me and February is almost over. I'll probably go back and do better fanart for this au another day. Thank you for introducing me to @pogostikk Separated AU. It's really cute seeing pink Steven/Star raise Steven. I want to draw funny little clown boy. I almost didn't even post this. Fanartapalooza of my own au...because uh shut up this is my self indulgence. It's a Sonic Steven Universe crossover AU. The Crystal Mobians? Has someone else thought of this? Uh probably? But I have my own spin on it.

My version still takes place on a planet with both Mobians and Humans. The crystal gems (and gem kind in general) have lightforms based closer to mobians but still can shapeshift to their more human like forms. Most is the same with gem physiology except for the fact that as far as fusion goes, it seems to be doable for any gem to fuse with a mobian!(Though obviously like other forms of fusion, still frowned upon)

The chaos emeralds are actually unidentified powerful gems that lay dormant. All gems that have been poofed and lay dormant inside their gem actually produce energy that humans can harness, but mobians have an innate aptitude for fusion and can fuse to harness that power, even when the gem is dormant.

Anyways that was all unnecessary, but Here is Garnet (the Star nosed Mole), Amethyst (the puma), and Pearl (the woodpecker). None of them would actually go by the animal names but instead their actual gems. Gems of the same type tend to pick similar animals to visualize as. (Pearls tend to be birds, Amethysts tend to be big cats, etc. )

I'm still designing Steven, but he's a lion! And is a half Gem/ half Mobian.

I'm not a content creator. I ain't got a PLAN. When I say "I was planning on drawing ____" I mean I was thinking "hey that would be cool I should do that" Like 10 min ago when I was thinking about drawing. I have no list or posting schedule. I'm just an artist whose working a day job. I'm posting stuff as I get the whim to draw. The closest thing to a "list" I have is looking at White Diamond AU's tribute and mAybe avoiding the ones already done but uh...they did a LOT, and I actually like those AUs so I'm already breaking that just because I'm drawing when an idea hits. You know what, the beginning of my list is maybe posting my own Sonic the hedgehog SU AU. Which, lol I have to actually draw the main crew just to post and get 2 notes calling me cringe.

I had never heard of that one, Sure! I love discovering new stuff. Interesting to combine the young immature dad Greg with the pink diamond immaturity. This au is Steven growing up with a pink diamond Greg as a gem parent and Steven being born of a human Rose. Steven still has a gem but a very different life with a runaway Pink Greg, Bismuth and Peridot. Honestly should have drawn them raising baby Steven because that would be cute. Alright more fanartapalooza! This time it's Switcheroo AU by @saiscribbles @switcherooau because I was itching to do it anyways. So I did some screenshot redraws from the movie, Pearl and spinel facing off

But we know that's not how it's suppose to end up lol here's the more accurate ending to that fight.

Honestly excited to see more Pearl in this au but I get that it's late in the timeline.

Someone asked @ask-whitepearl-and-steven when the next Fanartpalooza should be, and I say FUCK IT, why not now? It's February, we got valentines day. Spread the love! February Fanartapalooza!

For me, since I was on a loooong car ride and itching to read something new and draw something on my phone, I drew @su-homeworldraisedau version of Steven but attempting to still be in the art style of the show (I nicked a background from the show, forgive me, I'm not THAT insane to do backgrounds on my phone) I'm excited to see the differences in Steven's new upbringing and eventually white diamonds involvement in all this.

Gemsonas from art fight! Schorl is a failed mime for white diamonds court and White Spinel is an ambitious stand up comic for whites court, so I kinda mashed their stories together. I got all my gemsonas right here on tumblr but you can learn more about them on their art fight page...or ask me :D
