Yo, I know I'm never on here, but since I'm taking a break from Insta plus I have like no followers here so it's a lot less stressful and time-consuming, I'll probably post more frequently for awhile because I'm sort of attracted to the idea of shouting off into cyberspace with no one listening. Somehow I've gone this long listening to Billy Idol while missing out on the awesomeness that is Generation X. Anyone who likes punk, seriously needs Generation X in their life; they're so good. The only reason I was even looking them up is because their song "Kiss Me Deadly" obviously shares a name with Lita Ford's song and I just searched for that song.

Also, young Billy Idol is so hot.

Okay so I have been looking at pictures of Corey Hart for so long and I can't decide whether he's really attractive or like... not, I'm just so torn haha. That being said, I'm sorry for not posting at all. Are there any Corey Hart fans out there? Or is this another one of those things that only Canadians know? I'm posting this here because it is soooooo hard to find pictures of Toronto. If you just search "Toronto," you obviously just get the city but then if you search "Toronto band" you'll get any number of bands that aren't this one, ya know cuz Toronto has a lot of bands. But I loooove them so I think Tumblr needs to have this picture on file. Any Toronto fans?

Okay, so sometimes it seems like the goal of fashion shows is to make the models (and by extension their clothing) look as unflattering as possible. Yet, I still can't help admiring Joan here. I swear she can rock anything, it's honestly unfair. Also, she's absolutely the most badass human ever so maybe that has something to do with it.

One of the greatest discoveries of my life was hands down when I realized that one of my biggest heroes (thanks to both his production and his time in the Payolas) Bob Rock had produced my favourite Veruca Salt album, Eight Arms to Hold You. I guess I'd never pegged Veruca Salt as a Bob Rock band so I was somewhat pleasantly surprised, but sonically this album totally sounds like some of the other albums he's produced so, like, it makes sense.

Bob Rock on this album: "To me, this was one of those records that was fun to make. Great people, a great experience, and it was successful... There was no drama. ‘Let’s record it, let’s mix it – boom.'"

I just wish I could find an image of Bob Rock with Nina or Louise but all I have is this pic from Veruca Salt's Twitter of Bob working on their album.

Hey, I'm Vicky! I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing here yet, but you can blame Mina for me being here cuz I love her and she got me curious (@rockmusicjunkie). I'm @.glamrockgirlz on Instagram, so totally follow me there. Please.

As for this account, I'm still figuring out exactly what Tumblr's about so I'm not sure what'll happen here, but it seems like a good place to blast my endless musing. Considering my instagram is limited to women in rock (which, for the record, is amazing - my girls don't get enough love and recognition which is totally unfair), I'll probably branch out a bit here and explore my other bands (as well as my girls, of course).

I guess that's pretty much all I have to say right now except, we'll see what happens.
