“Lazy motherfuckers.” Ash mumbled. He was kidding... well, maybe only partly. He really did want to get something done , because he didn’t like leaving Aiden with other people for too long. “Should we wait or should we try to record something, at least?”

Zack would have definitely gone on to find another band; it wasn’t like any of them could really be successful just playing their instruments alone. “They’ll be here eventually, who fuckin’ knows. Takin’ breaks is good and all, but it makes it super hard for them to wanna come back ‘n work I guess.”

Ashley had to agree there -- it wasn’t as if there was a huge market for solo drummers. At any rate, he liked being part of a team... the band was his family, so he was happy to have Stacee back with them. Even if he still sometimes forgot they existed. “So.. what about the other guys?

“ — yeah, true. Guess we just gotta take what we can get, ya know … considering he decided to come back and all – leave the idea of a solo career behind,” because it was stupid anyway. Zack loved Stacee like a brother, but that had been the wrong decision from the very beginning. Probably some cooked up bullshit by Paul.

“ — well I guess we’re gonna have to fuckin’ wait to record the lead vocals,” annoyance dripped from each syllable, as Zack tossed aside the notebook he’d had in his hands, “since, ya know … Stacee thinks it’s cool to just up and ditch us for his weird Satanic bullshit whenever he feels like it.”

“Stacee for you.” Ashley mumbled, taking a final drag of his cigarette before he put it out in the ashtray on the table beside him. “Sucks because it’s never the same vibe as when we can do it all at once.”

Yeah, it did... -His smile faded just slightly, but Ashley's was too perky to stay that way for long, and he clapped Stacee gently on the shoulder; But 'm glad you're okay.

*nods, grinning* Better’n I was, by a little bit anyhow.  Shit got pretty rough there I guess.

-The drummer let out a laugh, practically jumping up and down at the sight of his front man; I'm awesome! Yeah -- how're you? You okay? I haven't seen ya in fuckin' forever!

OOF! *catches him but barely, staggering back a few steps and laughs* Jesus, man, y’really almost had me there.  How are ya?

"You'd better." He teased, and after a moment he closed his eyes, only to rest his forehead against the guitarist's chest. "Aiden's finally asleep."

Hands encircled about his waist then, to rest along the small of his back as Zack continued to grin, “Oh yeah? I always miss you too, baby.”

"STACEEEEEEEEEEE--!!" The younger musician practically tackled him to the ground.

Ashley arched a dark brow at him with a smirk, before nuzzling against his neck. "I always miss you." He mumbled, nipping playfully at the guitarist's chin.

A slow and sly grin began to form as Zack watched him, only for both hands to rest along the drummer’s sides as he took his seat, “Missed me that much?”

The drummer ran his fingers though the back of his own hair, before taking the liberty of straddling his boyfriend's lap. "Good."

"Well ‘m here now, silly."

I keep forgetting Ash is like.. in the midst of a custody battle.
