I find myself reflecting the more time I spend here.

I joined the team, I spent years as an operative, could've retired at any point and lived a comfortable life. But they offered me a spot for a 'special' mission, one last farewell.

I find myself thinking, I could've said no, why didnt I say no? I came here of my own free will. No one forced me to come here.

I could've just slept in that morning, I could've done anything else, I COULD be doing anything else.

But instead I'm here, and I know about as much as I knew when I first arrived.
