Looking for Voice Actors for a Katawa Shoujo Dub Project! (english)

Hey there! I recently played through Katawa Shoujo and fell in love with it on the first run. I’m not going to up talk the VN because if you’re reading this I hope you already know what it is. After playing through it and getting really attached to the characters, I got really interested in their voices. I really wanted to know what they sounded like. I found a few dub projects that were, pretty good... Kinda. None post 2014 though. 

I decided it would be kinda cool and fun to just remake one. It’s a lot easier than it sounds, given that the entire script and visual setting is already made.

Really this is just a casting call for the characters. If you’re interested in voicing any of the characters then you should audition!

I cannot guarantee that all the characters will be used. I have not decided which story route to take but I think that I will go with which ever has the strongest voices. For example, if the voice actor for Lilly is spot on, then we will probably take the Lilly route!

I highly encourage you to audition for as many roles as you want! 

Okay so how do you Audition? This is actually really simple. Just send an audio file to JustRokoshara@gmail.com

Here’s what you will need to record:                                                                        The moments that Hisao meets the character you’re auditioning for and the scene when they confess to each other. (If it’s not one of the girls then pick a random scene between Hisao and the character you’re auditioning for and just voice that out) Don’t worry about voicing Hisao’s part in your audition clip, just be sure to include the script to the portion of dialogue you submit. Please include your name and age! (name can be real name, screen name, or both)

This is really easy and simple but if you have any questions or request feel free to email me about them! 

Things to Note:                                                                                                         You will not be paid. You will not be held to a strict schedule. You will not be judged or ridiculed. This will be posted on YouTube. You will be credited for your role!

Things you will need:                                                                                               A good microphone. A recording software (i.e. Audacity is great and free!) Decent availability. Discord, Skype, and a copy of Katawa Shoujo (Its free)

It won’t cost you any money to be a part of this project! Note that this is a fan based project and is in no way connected to  FourLeaf Studios.

The Deadline is February 10th or sooner (if the entire cast is chosen before then)
