If the Beasts cookies bit their respective counterparts, what would happen? Like I imagine that the ancients would have an intense longing and need be by their beast sides, same for the beasts. What do you think would happen?

Lmao no he’s not. Sorta- technically not. As he was the one to kinda- push Pure Vanilla over the edge that turned him into Truthless Recluse, he was, in a way, responsible ig? But what happened with TR/PV is essentially the same as the Beasts. He fell into corruption, thus losing his ability to form a strong and loving bond through a kiss and instead adapted a more harsh and forceful bite, same as all the other Beasts when they fell. The way I see Truthless Recluse is essentially a Beast version of Pure Vanilla. Whether it actually is, I cannot say. I don’t work for DevSis lol But as it is a corrupted form of an Ancient, it essentially works the same way.

And for Beasts and Ancients, the way I see their Bites and Kisses, respectively, is a sorta- instinctual thing, especially for the Beasts. You could see it like that for Truthless Recluse in that scenario. Through the bond he still had (though slowly weakening) from his kiss, that Beastly instinct to bite his partner basically just took over. When a Beast has their mind set on a cookie to have as their darling, that urge to Bite gnaws at them until they sate it. They almost feel relief when they finally put the need to rest. This feeling was especially strong with Truthless Recluse as he was already tied to you through his weakening kiss. His new possessive nature as a Beast demanded he not allow that bond to fade.

Short Answer: No, Shadow Milk did not influence Truthless Recluse to bite you. It was TR’s instincts as a Fallen Soul Jam Holder.

What would happen if a beast bites an ancient ex: if a beast bit their respective ancient (ex of a potential outcome would be both sides yearning for each other).

As fellow bearers of the Soul Jam, the bite would be challenged by the Ancient’s own power. When an Ancient awakens, the bite is nullified and must be placed again, but as an Ancient’s strength has been increased in this state, it likely won’t stick. Bearers of the Soul Jam typically can’t mark each other with a bite if consent isn’t present as, while they cannot effectively fight and remove claims on a darling, they can on themselves if they do not desire the claim. So a Beast cannot claim another Beast or an Ancient if the claim is not desired by the receiving party.

If the claim is reciprocated tho, then the effects are basically the same as an Ancient’s Kiss, since a Bite would be unable to cause harm in this particular instance due to aforementioned reasons.

Debating making a Discord server for the Beast Bites and Ancient Kisses AU… Should I? 🤔

It will be a server I will attempt to be present in. In it, people will be able to talk about theories and share OCs and stories and art they’ve made in the AU. Possibly more but that will be decided if I make it lol

for the beast bites au.. what if the beast is interested in someone thats more powerful than the average cookie? probably not on the same level as them, but someone with lots of power nonetheless, like a dragon. would the bite be less powerful because of their strength, or would it be the same (or perhaps even more powerful, because of all the magic already flowing through their dough...) and how differently would they treat a darling like this? thank you in advance

A bite exerts as much power as it needs to overpower a darling and force them to succumb to the Beast’s power over them. From what we know, the Beasts are the most powerful beings on Earthbread, able to spread plagues to different continents and even reshape an entire kingdom in their image at only half power. Virtually no cookie is immune to their claims (this will be expanded on in another ask). Believe it or not tho, despite Burning Spice’s bite being the worst for most cookies, it’s not as bad for a dragon. At least, not for most dragons. If the dragon is a fire breather and/or is used to heat, like Pitaya and Snapdragon, the bite’s effects aren’t nearly as terrible, or dangerous. It can still force even a dragon into submission (tho most dragons will fight tooth and claw over such a claim due to their pride), it won’t be as much a risk to the dragon’s health as it would be a regular cookie’s. This is not the case if the dragon is not a fire user, tho they will still be a bit more resistant than the average cookie.

Some writing advice from yours truly I once gave to a few friends in a Discord server- audhcuch

A tip I have for those who wanna get started in writing is, just like with art, make a “sketch” first. Use a “script style” to make a sort of… skeleton for what you’re writing. Use the names of each character and write down just what they’re saying and the basics of smth they might be doing. That way you’re not overwhelming yourself and it’s easier to go back and edit before you start actually writing a full scene. As an example, start with smth like A. And when you have the basics of the scene figured out, going to smth more detailed like B is easier and less overwhelming (yes, both pics below are the same scene sirbjf).

Ofc, this is not a must, but I find that it does sometimes make things easier
