Playing through Oracle of Seasons again and I feel like TOTK could have reintroduced the Subrosians. I forgot how fun they were.

They make SO many more noises than I thought!
My cat sometimes quacks at birds.

Spoilers for TOTK endgame.
The Bargainer statue mentions that they don't care about what a Poe did in its life, it is their job to ferry them into oblivion without justice.
After Ganon is defeated, after Zelda returns and the efforts to rebuild Hyrule starts again, Link makes one more journey into the depths. Searching tirelessly until he finds it.
Ganondorf's Poe.
Its angry at first, saying that it will just bide it's time down here, wallowing in anger and pain only to return again.
And Link asks why.
This all started off with pure intentions to secure a future for his people. How he didn't see the corruption of Demise until it was too late. How he lost sight of his goals, of himself, and sought only to seek power for the sake of power.
Link forgives him. He understands. And he asks Ganon if he wants it to end. And Ganon says yes. And the two of them go to a Bargainer statue and the soul of Ganon, releases the pain and anger that it has harbored for millennia.
It's over. All the threads of all the possible timelines, all the journeys known and unknown of heroes past, locked in this same conflict, all end here. Hyrule, like Ganon, is finally saved. There is a chance for peace and prosperity.
But will a nation who only knew war and fear for so long ever truly recover?

Working on an island loosely inspired by Rito Village. Revali's Landing is the most direct.
Unfortunately I can't remember the creators of the custom patterns. I'll credit them once I track them down.

My biggest gripe with TOTK is we don't really learn much about the sages. In BOTW we got to see Link and Zelda's relationship grow, and the bond strengthen with the champions.
The Dragon Tears memories were interesting but all we get to learn about the sages is that... they were there?
I feel like it's a big missed opportunity. I would have loved to learn about why the Gorons abandoned Gorondia. And how much support did Ganondorf have amongst the Gerudo? Was he a radical with a splinter group? Was he widely followed with only a few rebels? Didn't create some sort of schism? A civil war?
I have so many questions!

Printed myself an Ocarina, using the file linked below by Rob Begs. Came out looking nice. Sounds good in the low notes but the high notes seem thin. Still figuring out.
12 year old me would be thrilled.

Okay so this actually lost its charm so I've revised the fast travel rules.
I can fast travel from a lightroot to it's corresponding shrine. And on the surface I can fast travel only to/from stables and larger settlements.
Having finished the main story of TOTK I'm now working through the side quests that I didn't finish. I've realised how much of the game world I've just kind of breezed through so, I'm using the following rules to try and force myself to slow down and see more of the world.
I play with pro HUD
I don't fast travel, unless I need to go from the depths to the surface
I can't take a horse from a stable without returning the horse I currently have out
I'm really liking it. The game feels different, a bit more immersive, and I have to plan my routes more accordingly.
It also really makes me hate the ruined bridge by Dueling Peaks.
