trying to decide what i want my sona/canon ship with foxy’s lore to be.

option 1: ghosts can age and mature in this scenario (since apparently that’s abnormal?) my sona grows up visiting freddy fazbear’s pizza and bonding with foxy, heading the ghost’s voice and being drawn to visit him. as an adult after the place is shut down, they eventually kill themselves and possess a custom animatronic so they can live with foxy as haunted animatronics forever. foxy’s personality would still largely be influenced by the character the animatronic is based on, since he died so young and has been bound to the animatronic for so long. kind of like a post-fusion plural person who retains a lot of fictive traits/feelings.

option 2: the possession in the restaurant is more like a location-bound malaise. the animatronic of foxy himself more takes on the individuality of the character except for episodes of haunted behavior, usually triggered by the presence of guards. in this scenario my sona would just be another animatronic from another location who eventually ended up in the same place as foxy.

i have mixed feelings because i think i prefer the latter type of possession (and because then there would be less discourse-diseased people giving me shit about liking foxy “when he’s technically a child” or whatever, even though that’s not true in either scenario) but i also really like the idea of a lovestruck-suicide, intentionally going through something gruesome to be closer to the one you love.

feel free to help me decide or even suggest an alternative way i could write it to include all my favorite aspects! :3

maybe i’m just aromantic and bad at reading the room but it irks me when people are like “kris is canonically implied to have romantic feelings for (x character)” because as far as i can tell this has not happened. with the sole exception of maybe the cactus darkner.
