                                             She’d never admit that she doesn’t understand the tradition of                             the “New Year’s Kiss”, but she’ll happily oblige if it’s Teddy.                                                               Of course—- she’s a little disappointed when,                                               once again, a kiss is pressed to her cheek.                                              It’s a common occurrence for this to happen;                                                                he’ll kiss her cheek or the back of her hand—-                                  she can’t quite recall one being on the l i p s.                                                             ——She n e e d s to change this.

There has been a lot of fandom activity since the release of Night at the Museum 3: Secret of the Tomb in terms of graphics, fanart, and roleplay blogs. This is fantastic in every sense of the word – especially with all three (and more!) converging on one another.

However, there seems to be some issues arising within this as well, and I am here to address said issues in a composed and calm fashion.

It has come to my attention that non roleplay blogs have been reblogging in character content from other natm roleplayers. In the roleplay community, reblogging posts that are tagged for a specific person (that isn't you) is heavily frowned upon. Roleplayers are a bit opposite of artists in this respect – artists want their work to be reblogged and get recognition, whereas roleplayers generally wish to keep their content on their blog and the person's blog with whom they are roleplaying. It keeps our activity feed clean and ensures that our work stays in a contained environment.

If a roleplayer asks you not to reblog their original, in character content – respect it.

It has also come to my attention that the mention feature is being abused, and people have been 'warning' others about some natm roleplayers who don't want their content reblogged, as if this is a bad thing that they should be shamed and punished for. It is not. It is a simple preference and should be respected as such.

In general, this seems to be an issue of misunderstanding, in which no one is truly at fault here. Mistakes happen, and it is okay – but it is important to keep the above in mind. Especially because roleplaying is supposed to be a hobby for us and a means to relieve stress – not to create more of it.
