I’m currently on the tail-end of a week vacation (Wednesday to Wednesday), and yesterday, received 15 messages, to my primary cellphone. During the week, I also received a handful of texts from the folks I supervise (who all know I was on vacation).

Coming back to Tumblr (I've never really left, but yeah), and I'm realizing...

I never really taught myself how to use "Likes" and "Reblogs" in a way that's beneficial to myself.

What are your reasons for "Liking" something on Tumblr?

There's just nothing normal about shelter. It's an institutional setting that's highly restrictive.

Tumblr is that social network that has always been there. It's exactly what you make of it.

That said, I've sucked at that last part, not making it much of anything for myself.

I'll be sharing more of my YouTube music things, and hopefully getting into some chill/casual gaming streaming as well.

I find it so funny, in light of TikTok’s imminent American demise, that even now they aren’t considering moving to tumblr. The last two social media refugee crises (Twitter -> X and whatever happened with Reddit) prompted a wave of wide-eyed new baffled tumblr users to flood this app and yet last I heard all of the tiktokers are flooding en-masse a Chinese social media app. That is entirely in Mandarin. Instead of moving to tumblr.
