I'll think about it, little witch.
Here we go again...
Don’t provoke her and we wouldn’t have any problems.

Crystal.
Whoever hurt my childe
Says the vampire that apparently doesn’t know hers. I expected more from you. If my childe or her claim give you trouble, you exhibit some self control and you bring it to me. I don’t need petty wrestling matches between the two of you going on right now. If you want the leadership to run more smoothly, do not cause me trouble. Any further problems and you will lose more than your tongue. Are we clear?

Teach your human how to bite her tongue and I will.
Here we go again...
She’s fine, not that you’ll ever get close enough to her again to see that. Stay away from CJ. Stay away from the witches. Stay away from me. That’s all I ask.

Disrespect, Mathieu. They do not know their place. As you wish. Since it displeases you so, I won't speak of it anymore.
Whoever hurt my childe
As asked you to explain what you meant when you said she wasn’t following the rules either, explain why it is you went after my childe and not my avoiding the issue and making other accusations.

You had better watch your mouth, little girl. Do not speak of things you know nothing about.

I am explaining! You're not listening. Yes, I am aware of what's been going on around here. I'm aware of the loss, and I'm aware that everyone's probably a little out of it, but they've been out of it for too long. Take my tongue if you want. It won't solve your problems, and it won't change the fact that you're running this place into the ground. You can't even Sire a childe correctly.
Whoever hurt my childe
Then for the last time, Explain!. I can not answer to whatever this unfairness is if you do not explain the problem to me, Miss Murdock. I am a vampire not a mind reader. In case you haven’t noticed we have lost half of our building, half our leadership, the barn to house the wolves in, half of our supply of humans since the witch died, and the last thing on my mind is keeping a few humans under control. If you are unhappy with the way this place is run, by all means, find the door. If you have a problem you do not bring to my attention it can not be addressed so speak your piece now, or rip your tonuge out and stop wasting my time.

Good as new. How's the hunter? Still clinging on by her last breath, I hope.
Here we go again...
Peachy. How’s the finger?

No. You let the humans run wild, you let your childe run wild. You sit back and let them do whatever they please and you only dole out punishment when it pleases you. Excuse my language--but you've let this place become a shit show.
Whoever hurt my childe
Then do not say I’m not fair if you don’t wish to explain. Since you won’t be needing it right away, how about you remove your tongue and send it to me in a box?

I expected as much. Pain and hypocrisy often run hand in hand. I've been living in pain since the moment I've arrived here. It's nothing new for me.
Whoever hurt my childe
If you’re not going to explain, I’m going to cut right to causing you pain because I’m in no mood for small talk.

No actually, but I have heard the phrase ' you learn something new everyday.' So thanks, I've learned something new. Fine, I did it. She deserved it, but it's not as if you care.
Whoever hurt my childe
Have you ever heard the phrase that disrespecting an angry Primogen member will get you beheaded?

Have you ever heard the phrase, 'assuming makes an ass out of you and me?' It might do you well to remember it.
Whoever hurt my childe
Should I assume that means you’re responsible?

Oh Mathieu. Must you be so demanding?
Whoever hurt my childe
It would be in your best interest to come forward now and not make me try to find you.

[Rose watched the two girls, not even bothering to notice the bloody knife whizzing past her. The damage was done, and she felt nothing but pride and satisfaction as she watched the two of them bleed. They were pathetic, falling all over one other to try and save the other. She picked the used knife up from the floor, bringing it to her mouth and flicking her tongue along the blade.] You probably should. It can't be healthy to bleed out in a kitchen. [Rose smirked, too proud of her work to think about whatever consequences would come her way.] I wish you two the best of luck in not dying. [With that, she turned around and walked out of the kitchen, not even bothering to give them a last look.]
[Private, except to Ivy] We should have a movie night.
ivy-scarlett:
[Just hearing CJ’s voice made Ivy feel better, calmed her down to the point where she didn’t feel like ripping Rose’s head off.] Hey— [Her words were cut off when a sharp pain pierced through her abdomen. She hadn’t felt pain like this since she had been stuck with the government, and for a split second, Ivy was taken back to that awful gray room, where so much of her blood had been spilled. She screamed, a horrible scream that she had perfected during the months of her captivity, and she sank to her knees. Ivy could only watch as Rose pulled the knife out of her stomach and plunged it into CJ’s tiny body. Already, she could feel herself healing, but the pain was still too severe to do anything but look apologetically at CJ. Ivy was immortal, but her girlfriend was very much a human. With a huge amount of effort, Ivy staggered to her feet and shoved Rose away from CJ. Getting back at her would come later. Right now, she needed to make sure that her claimed was okay.] CJ, CJ, I need you too look at me. [Her own voice was strained, and she was pretty sure that blood was still spilling from her stomach, but she would eventually heal. She carefully pulled the knife from CJ’s stomach and hurled it at Rose, not watching whether her weapon hit its mark. Biting down on her wrist, she shoved it into CJ’s mouth.] Drink. You have to drink. Please.

[Whatever happened next was somewhat of a blur. CJ was already trying to find a way to stay focused with the pain shooting through her hand, but in just a second’s time, she felt the dull pain in her abdomen through the claim bond just as Rose pulled the knife back out of Ivy and plunged it into her own stomach. CJ froze, her hand trying to move to the spot, but falling helplessly, her mouth open just slightly as blood formed around the handle. She muttered a curse word or two when Ivy pulled the knife away, more blood spilling onto the floor as she tried to cover it with her good hand. CJ’s eyes didn’t leave the wound in Ivy’s stomach though. She knew it would heal but it didn’t keep her from worrying, and from not wanting to take too much of Ivy’s blood. Her eyes moved up to Ivy’s dark red ones, taking her wrist and few shallow gulps of blood before her eyes darted to Rose and back.] We need to get out of here. [She could heal later, right now, CJ knew they’d have to get out of this room, away from the older vampire, and somewhere Ivy could drink too if they were going to be able to heal her at all.]

The Memories That Haunt Us || Nightmare Prompt
It was hot.
As she slowly opened her eyes, the first thing Rose noticed was the sweltering heat. She felt as if her skin was melting off her bones, and as she looked around it was obvious why. It was dark, save for the orange flames that flickered dangerously around her. The tendrils of fire licked at her skin, coming close, but not close enough to start the painful process that was burning alive. The silver handcuffs that strapped her to her chair dug painfully into her wrists; they were two sizes to small and blood was already crusted around the sides.
A scream rose out of the silence. It rose in volume before choking off into silence again, and Rose turned her head to find the source of the sound, and her eyes fell upon the last person she expected to see.
Samuel.
He was sitting across from her, bound by silver handcuffs just as she was. The fire swirled around him, dancing on his skin, and he screamed as he burned. Rose felt her heart constrict, stomach clenching at the sight of her Sire in so much pain. She tried to call out to him, so tell him to open his eyes, but no words came out. She struggled against her bonds, but that only brought an onslaught of pain, so she shifted back into her seat.
He was burning, fire consuming him as he howled for someone to save him. Tears streamed down her face, and Rose's physical pain was nothing compared to the pain of watching him suffer.
She couldn't take it anymore. With his screams ringing in her ear, Rose closed her eyes and tried to take herself away from the situation. No sooner had her eyes closed when they were forced open, and she found herself staring into the eyes of Gabriel Delcourte. A scream rose in her throat and she thrashed her head from side to side, wanting to let it out, but to no avail.
"Watch and enjoy," he whispered, moving his hand to her chin and forcing her to watch Samuel burn.
Her voice came back to her as the flames leaped onto her skin, and her screams mixed with Gabriel's laugh and Samuel's cries in a cacophony of sounds.
She was dying, and the one she loved was dying with her as the one she hated looked on in glee.
